It is odd consdering EVERYONE likes Legion. Same with Wrex...
But we do talk about geth a bit on here. And Mesina's right. A lot of geth topics aren't in this section.
Edit: Top of the page.
Tali is badass even in ME1. And anyone else hate this guy? Posted Image

Wrex isn't liked by everyone. I personally do not like him all that much.

Wait, what? How can anyone not like Wrex? The man has some of the best lines in ME1, and more than a few good ones in 2, even though his involvement is much lighter. He's also a certified badass.

But that discussion is for another thread.

I really think it will be possible in 3 to see some kind of cease-fire agreement (at the least) between the Quarians and the Geth DEPENDING on how you play your cards during Tali's loyalty mission. I think the restlessness from the majority of the Quarians comes from wanting a home world. I think that if they were shown that the Geth would give them the homeworld (or be for co-existence) many of the Quarians would be more than willing to give it a try.

EDIT:

Yes, I hate that man for trying to feel up my future woman.  :P

I didn't like Wrex until ME2. In general, I like nicer people. Like, well, Tali.

And that assassin was asking for it. First time we meet Tali and she whips out her omni-tool and blows the assassins sky high.
Besides, that turians facial tatooes make him look like a skeleton. He was already dead indeed!
Edit: Wrex is kinda like Sten. Hard to warm to at first. But when he finally respects you it's like winning the lottery.

Sten is a lot more harder to figure out.

Really? I didn't like him at the very beginning, but once you exhausted all of his conversations ME1 he was a pretty fascinating character.

I much prefer him to Grunt who just seems to like violence and nothing else.

He also has one of the the best lines ever:

C-Sec Officer: "Do you want  me to arrest you?!"
Wrex: "*laughs* I'd like to see you try."

Although I think this is topped in ME2:

"*Headbutts* Speak when spoken to Uvenk, I'll drag your clan to glory, whether it likes it or not."

But anyway, this is the Tali thread.

Something I have been wondering:

Assuming that (a) Tali and Shepard both live, and (B) The Migrant Fleet survives, do people think a LI Tali is likely to stay with Sheapard after the Reapers are defeated or return to the Fleet?

She had feelings for Shepard since the events of ME1 but went back because of her loyalty to her people, and again on Freedoms Progress, however in ME2 they clearly show a lack of respect for her during her loyalty mission whereas Shepard jumps to her defence, so now she is disillusioned about her own people will she still choose duty over her own happiness do you think?

Although i wish it with all my heart, i know that we will never see Quarians settle on any planet.
The Quarians are the gypsies of the ME universe and for sole purpose of maintaining this distinctive feature they will ramain so for as long as there are games beeing set in ME universe. This will not prevent them for seting smal colonies from time to time, or make attemps for settling somewhere for good, but I am quite sure they will be denyied evry time.
They situation is similar to the situation of Dwarfs in many fantazy worlds. They are the race on the run. Driven out of theyr homeland, seeking refuge in evrytime smaller numbers, prolonging theyr meager existence in hope of reclaiming lost legasy, in stubborness refusing to give up and forget their former glory, unable to see that the world has changed nad there is no going back for them. And I havent seen but one univerum in which Dwarfs rebuilded they ancient empire and returned to the old good ways.

So I am affraid the Quarian migrant fleet is doomed to remain homeless, at least as the canon script goes. But I also hope that ME3 conclusion would allow all the diffrend endings, allow us to remake the galaxy in the new order. Nevertheless in the end if there are to be any games set in ME universe taking place after the events of the trylogy, I suppose the defalut status of Quarians woudl remain pretty much unchanged.

That was changed prior to her trial. Should she return to the fleet, I am certain they'd re-instate her name.

I see your point, but I imagine that should
the Migrant Fleet play a prominent rolein defeating the Reapers then
their galactic status would be re-instated.

In the same way that an Elven Grey Warden can influence the acceptance of the Dalish in DA:O.

I see the relationship between Shepard and Tali as a long term thing. I think that Tali can still benefit the Migrant Fleet while travelling with Shepard, pop back every now and again to bring resources. So even if they hadn't accused her of exile, I don't think there would be any obligation to return to the Migrant fleet when she could still do her duty with Shepard. An unromanced Shepard may be different though. Aside from pilgramages, it doesn't seem like quarians stray much from the flotilla.

And yeah, I had to give Sten lots of gifts and dogbones before he would approve enough. With Wrex, you just had to get his family armour.

That's true, but at the end of the trial, even with an exonerated outcome, she seems to embrace the idea of really being part of Shepard's crew, name and all.  Of course she could go back.  She could have had the "Neema" back in her name right then.  But she didn't.  That would suggest that she feels the stronger duty is to be with Shepard.

As for continued duty beyond ME3, I think that part of the romance with Tali is that she starts to accept that she doesn't have to deny herself the things she wants.  Will her people always be important to her?  Of course.  But I don't necessarily think that it has to be a competing priority with Shepard.

That was what I found most amusing about DA:O. The squad interactions/banter/romances are a hell of a lot more realistic than ME's, but gaining their approval is just a matter of bribery.

Grey Warden: "I am going to get that cute kitten out of that tree!".
Morrigan: Disapproves -10.
Grey Warden: "Here Morrigan, have this pretty bracelet and cake!".
Morrigan: Approves +20.

That is what I am hoping. I don't imagine I'd be very fond of my "family" after the sham trial. I am still not convinced on the homeworld idea though, I imagine it could be an option, if the ending is like DA:O where you can say what you plan on doing next once everything is over, but I don't think it should be a definite for a Shepard who has romanced Tali.

I really wish to see how DA2 characters will be close to awesomeness of DAO ones.
But they are bringing Anders back though and that's a heavy plus.

Hehe. ^

True, people prefer pretty bracelets and cake over doing missions to help them out and stuff!

I think Tali would stay with Shepard, but I can see where machines are us is coming from, it does seem to be rare for a quarian to be away from the migrant fleet for a reason other than their pilgramage or to do a mission for the quarians (eg. Haestrom.)

But she did return to Shepard even when she had the choice to remain on the migrant fleet (bearing in mind this was once she had completed her pilgramage.) So it does make sense for her to still remain with Shepard. I would hope she would stay on the Normandy with my femsheps too.
