But she did return to Shepard even when she had the choice to remain on the migrant fleet (bearing in mind this was once she had completed her pilgramage.)

Fussy letter from her father and everything.  Heh.

I want that !! :)
there should be Fornax online in favorites too :)

Instantly reminded me of Shadow Brokers files on Tali, especialy the one considering her instaling then uninstaling, then back again instaling some program on her envirosuit  :) so cute and adorable .

We don't need Mordin to tell us that.

Edit:  Maybe Jacob does, though.

It'd be hilarious if you could miss out on having a LI because they discovered a Fornax mag in your quarters. I believe that mag is the only thing in the game I didn't buy. =]

As for the nerve-stim implants, I have to say that I have never looked at Quarians the same since.

As for continued duty beyond ME3, I think that part of the romance with Tali is that she starts to accept that she doesn't have to deny herself the things she wants. Will her people always be important to her? Of course. But I don't necessarily think that it has to be a competing priority with Shepard.

Surely the fact that Shepard corrisponded her feelings was the turning point, but she's still far from being free from her overgrown sense of duty and loyalty... there will may be some interesting situations because of that in ME3.

Love the quarian's relations advice thing above. Maybe the friendzoned turian on Illium should try it out?
Is Shala'Raan Tali's mother's sister or Rael's sister? I assume she was Tali's mother's sister since they linked suits though (I have played that dialogue through now, thanks for telling me about it!)

Neither.

They were as close as sisters, since they trusted each other enough to link suits and Tali's mother wanted Shala present for Tali's birth.  No actual relation to either Tali's mother or Rael.

Oh right, for some reason, I assumed she was Tali's Aunt? Ooops. I do get some random assumptions for which I have no reason to even think that that is the case...

However, it seems natural that as a people, quarians are much more closer to each other than humans are for example.

Tali calls her "Auntie Raan" but there's no blood relation.

Yes and no.  Quarians live crammed together in those ships, and there's an us-against-them mentality because they are so few and the galaxy is in general hostile to them.  Yet, privacy is very important to them, since they have so little.  It's been theorized that one of the reasons their masks are opaque is for privacy.  Same with the deal about suit-linking.  They might have to live side by side in an overcrowded ship, but sharing the air they breathe is something they reserve only for the most trusted and loved.

Yeah it's a big deal for them. Must be so tough to be a Quarian, living in cramped up spaces and living in suits all of their lives. Tough, real tough.

I think it's pretty much something that makes them more sensitive to things around them. So they can at least have some vague idea of how the world around them feels.

On the opacity of quarian visors/masks.
Here is my theory.
They were originally clouded to protect their (quarian) eyes from the
brighter/harsher lights found in the habitats of the other species.
Rannoch's sun being less bright and all. Moving to the flotilla, they
kept them that way because they did indeed allow some semblance of
privacy.

@ChopSuaay:

Did you ever listen to the whole conversation between the Quarian and the Turian in that bar on Omega?

"Anyway, if things get really bad, I did have that nerve stimulation program built into my suit."

I would go out on a limb and guess that those programs turn a Quarian's suit, or at least part of a Quarians suit, into a vibrator for a little while.

Makes me wonder if Tali was squinting when Shep took off her mask if here eyes are sensitive.
I can't help but think that would be really cute
