They hate the geth because they drove them out of their worlds. They hate them too because the generations are taught to. Constant hate circle. Maybe it'll stop or maybe not. I do wish for it stop though. The geth deserve a chance to redeem themselves. Maybe Mass Effect 3 will make it so. DO WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!
A big part of driving the quarians from their worlds was butchering nearly the entire population, bringing them down to only twenty million or so survivors. And then everything that happened after that. Tali, and the quarians in general, have an absolutely legitimate reason to hate Geth, keeping in mind that as the entity that committed the atrocities of the Morning War, it is still 'alive', while all quarians responsible are long since dead.
I'd prefer varied endings for the Geth/quarian conflict in ME3, ranging from an uneasy truce, with Geth returning Rannoch and offering massive reparations, to Daro'Xen/Rael's research being used to exert quarian control over the network. I could see Tali going along with either plan, though obviously not a push for a ground war, as that would cause the obliteration of her people. I do wonder what role she could possibly play in all of this though, she's hardly influential enough to do anything major.
