It's alright. But I do wish that ME3 fixes the relation with the Geth and the Quarians. Doesn't matter how they do it. I want it to happen. :)

They hate the geth because they drove them out of their worlds. They hate them too because the generations are taught to. Constant hate circle. Maybe it'll stop or maybe not. I do wish for it stop though. The geth deserve a chance to redeem themselves. Maybe Mass Effect 3 will make it so. DO WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!

A big part of driving the quarians from their worlds was butchering nearly the entire population, bringing them down to only twenty million or so survivors. And then everything that happened after that. Tali, and the quarians in general, have an absolutely legitimate reason to hate Geth, keeping in mind that as the entity that committed the atrocities of the Morning War, it is still 'alive', while all quarians responsible are long since dead.

I'd prefer varied endings for the Geth/quarian conflict in ME3, ranging from an uneasy truce, with Geth returning Rannoch and offering massive reparations, to Daro'Xen/Rael's research being used to exert quarian control over the network. I could see Tali going along with either plan, though obviously not a push for a ground war, as that would cause the obliteration of her people. I do wonder what role she could possibly play in all of this though, she's hardly influential enough to do anything major.

Good, I bought it days ago, but I'm still stucked with my actual ME1's playtrought (damned secondary missions... they so bore me that I'm not able to play the game more than 30-40 minutes) so I didn't tryed in anything important the new outfits :P

Defacto quarian representative (going by the logic stories tend to follow).

Yeah, I never thought about that. Still the part with the endings was realy well thought. :D

Ah. Right. I forgot this is within the scope of a video game story. Yes, she'll be the quarian contact, assuming she's alive. Unless she's exiled. Of course any outcome of ME2 can be hand-waved away with a few lines of text, but since it seems fairly likely she's alive and loyal in most people's games, I could see her as the 'quest-giver' for the Flotilla, and the main NPC for that information.

As much as Tali trusts Shepard, it would have taken a huge amount of trust for Tali to even consider giving any Geth, even Legion, ANY information on the Quarians, classified or not. I imagine that if Tali were totally uncomfortable with it, she would have not offered any kind of option to "make good."

And as for Tali's influence, I was talking more of if/when she became an Admiral, as may be likely depending on different choices Shepard makes in 2. As an Admiral that has had contact with the Geth, her insights and ideas, I would think, would prove valuable to the Quarians for what kinds of actions to take regarding the Geth and their homeworld.

Of course, I am an eternal optimist and assume the best, especially with video game characters, but that's what I think.

*shrug*

And if that were indeed a Colossucorn, it would have a horn of some kind on its head. Colossus could work if it's a hybrid between a Colossus and a Pegasus. Colegasus?

*raises eyebrow* It's a sci-fi video game from Blizzard Entertainment. I've never played it, but I've seen it in the video game stores.

I don't play a lot of games. An RTS? I'll have to try it out sometime. I like C&C.

Heh.  Yeah, technically the answer is always "because it serves the plot."  Just like starship speeds.

She's kind of got three variables:  loyal-exonerated, loyal-exiled, and dead.  It's kinda tough to have her disloyal and alive, unless you pick her up after the SM.  That might streamline some of the dialogue/plot/character use variables they'll have to plan.  Er... that I hope they'll have to plan.

Finally completed "Dossier: Tali" and looked at her new armor. It's very nice! I like the new pattern/cloth colour too. It fits well with the blue of Garrus' and Shepard's armor :) Blue dextro-squad, hell yeah! :D

offtopic postscriptum:

Woah, hardcore difficulty makes the game ALOT more cool *__*

Hmmm... I'm more of a Dawn of War girl.
And madmapper, wait til you do it on insanity! On ME1 it was frustrating, but on ME2 it is lots of fun!
And just something I was wondering about recently. There is that Asari on Illium who talks about her daughter who went to study the quarians. I believe she mentioned quarian music. So what do you guys think that quarian music sounds like? We know that quarians have their own way of dancing (very different from how the asari dance.) I would love to hear some quarian music.
I say that, but I am currently listening to War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne, and I get the feeling quarian music will be very different from that? Posted Image

When you enter flux with Tali in ME1 she comments on the music there. I think she said something about wanting to bring it back to flotilla. I quess their music is totaly diffrent considering how suprised she sounds when she comments on music there... Who knows what their music sounds like

Also I have to agree about Dawn of War(if you are talking about first one.. the 2nd one isnt even a real RTS). It was splendid game. very underrated. Beats starcraft... atleast in single player(multi in DoW wasnt as balanced as Starcraft... more races I quess). Tau ftw
