Major bummer I didn't know that. *sigh* News reporter don't know what they are saying sometimes, just so annoying. But other than that, I think that it's ok if we didn't get to see everything like in ME1, because IMO keeping things secret is letting your mind imagine, for example what Tali looks like under the helmet. I don't know if i would be happy if in ME3 we would see her face at the end.Tasha vas Nar Rayya wrote...
Probably the wrong thread, but when ME1 got released, Fox News launched all sorts of crap against it because of the sex scenes (mostly, the Liara and Femshep one.) Of course, they hadn't played the game, and Bioware was able to defend it successfully because of the biology and nature of the asari.
And so, this event may have affected (mostly) the Tali and Garrus romance scenes because Bioware were forced to be more careful after the stupid accussation Fox News threw at them.
Tali'Zorah Thread *Spoiler warning!*

I would like to see Tali's face mainly for one reason... so I can see what she looks like XD When I imagine her, my head starts hurting because I dont have a definative look for Quarians... I really hope they make the sex scenes better and I hope that Tali can give me a kiss >.< screw Shepard! XD

Hell if Tali end up looking somewhat like Liz Sroka (spelled correctly?) I wouldn't mind.Link112 wrote...
given Shepard's reaction, I think it's safe to say she will, at the last, be entrancing to look at.

And even though, I too love the mystery of Tali face. I also want to see what she looks like in ME3. It is the last of the trilogy, and if we don't see it then, then we probably never will.
The Fox News thing really annoyed me. It is stupid to publically make false accusations against something that you know NOTHING about. Absolutely nothing. Utterly stupid for such a major News organisation not to at least look up on the facts.
But it messed with public opinion of ME. And so I think that some of the romance scenes (and dialogue) in ME2 suffered as a consequence, partcularly Tali and Garrus'.

Kinda reminds me of the ''Tali betrayed Shepard'' argument.

I remember a 'how good looking is Miranda thread out of 1000' I put about 750, but Garrus and Tali were much higher though. As a joke.
The OP put 'who is Garrus and Tali?'
Made me chuckle.

I really, really doubt tht bioware will end up making her look ugly. I wouldn't really care personally, but seeing as the romance is very focused on seeing her face and all that I don't think she will end up looking like an orc or something. That would be major trolling on bioware's part.
Ya, they really can't anyways. I'm doing a playthrough to set up my final ME3 import and just yesterday I noticed you can almost see the outlines of her brow as well as her cheeks, nose and eyes. You can shape most of her face from those details. Alien looking, yes, but ugly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I say not possible.

There are models further back in this thread that show exactly what her placeholder face looks like. It's nothing spectacular.ImmortalWarrior wrote...

When you say a differently shaped head do you mean something like the drell, perhaps?
Yes, off course no big grey head, or things too creepy, but why they should have the same headshape of us?

Anyway, I heard once that Tali was supposed to be romanceable in ME1 but they decided against it because no one would romance her, most likely because of that people saw her as a ''little sister''
(Mmmm... bioshock). Say you had been able to romance her in ME1, would you have gone for it?

As to whether I'd romance her in ME1, yes, provided that her romance was good.

There are still some small bits left out if though, in the way the dialog is delivered if you give her the geth Data
The Tone is very full of emotion, then the next line "The only thing i can give..." is flat,... so "professorial" its like a personality swipe.
Of-course i only notice this during my Replay of ME1 just before ME2s launch.
