Nope. I'm willing to bet pretty much everything I own on that it won't be about Tali. Tali will be in it if you choose her to be on your squad when you do the DLC missions.

Well, to the extent that Tali is in Mass Effect 2, yes, she will be included in the DLC. As for who it will be centered around, this Doctor is foremost on the list, and I would think that Bioware would include some missions that help you to resolve/continue your romance from the first game (Kaiden/Ashley), as they did the same thing for Liara. Or they may just wait til 3. I do think it will have at least something to do with the Reapers.

Looks like it will begin the bridge to ME3. Cerberus news network saying that she believes that most of the relays are much older than 50 thousand years, maybe her research discovers something and you have to go save her from her own mess.

The name "Arrival" is very suggestive too. We know from the trailer that they do indeed arrive, at Earth...this could be the precursor to them discovering more about how the reapers get into the galaxy. Not likely to involve Tali specifically in my eyes.

Object Rho is most likely something involved with the DLC, which we will find out more about as the arrival date for Arrival nears.

EDIT:

Dammit, I used arrival twice.  >.<

Ah well.

I predict that we'll get something along the lines of the LotSB, in that the only dialog we hear from our normal (Tali, Garrus, Miranda, Jack, etc) squad mates are just recycled lines rather than new ones.

This man speaks the truth.  Whatever meaningful moments can be found will be ones we read into ourselves, like the thing in Overlord with Tali banging on the door trying to chase after Shep.

There is the unlikely possibility that they recorded dialog for this DLC since Mass Effect 3 is probably recording at the same time.

But don't get your hopes up.

About the DLC, that is so weird about that Doctor's findings... In my latest chapter of my fanfic that I was going to submit today, Shepard found a relay that was from a civilisation that predated the Protheans. I have had to redo the chapter because of the timeframe I have based it on... Damn!!

As if Bioware was aware of my fanficcing intentions, pfft! As for Tali centred DLC? I don't think they will bring any out. Same for Garrus. Both characters are in both games as squaddies, so even though they are my faves, there is no reason for them to have DLC.

Although I am the most hopeful for these two in ME3...

This. Right. Here. Do not care about DLC, let it flesh out and do another character justice. Like Kaidan or something. Just want Tali in ME3 as squaddie.

And that AA for Tali looks so-so. Better than her loyalty one that's for sure. Haven't had a chance to see it in game yet.  I think I'll buy it 'cause it makes Grunt look awesome; he can be brothers with Garrus, lol.  I have the custom Tali textures with all the glowy bits ^^

While I do want her to have a slightly bigger role in ME3 (Say, helping Quarian and Geth peace), I still don't want a Tali DLC for ME2.

If there was a Tali centred DLC, then I would be a little worried.

I would start thinking 'Why does she have her own DLC? What will her role be in ME3?'

Liara didn't have a role in ME2 apart from LotSB, but she may still have a bigger role in ME3. If Tali has a DLC though, it would make me worry about her appearance in ME3.

Not to mention that if Tali got her own DLC then the Virmire Survivor fans would never let us hear the end of it.

To be honest they deserver one more than Tali anyway. Tali was a small character in Mass Effect 1, the fans loved her and she was made into a deeper and more developed character, as well as a LI.

The people who like Ash and Kaiden had a deep and developed character in Mass Effect 1 but then got screwed in Mass Effect 2 with not only a cameo role, but a terribly written one. So yes, I hope they get something in this DLC, if only just to appease some of them.

I too, would like a VS DLC. Although some of them aren't going the right way about it, and are very hostile about it... But I saved Ash and I liked her, she had human flaws and a very realistic character. So it would be nice to be good buddies again.

But true, hypothetically, Tali fans would get relentlessly bashed. Especially if she was also a squaddie in ME3 (which I think she will be.) The snide comments about fanservice will never stop.

Mind you, people already go on about 'fan service' in terms of Tali...

I always thought that last look between Tali and Shep if he sends her into the vents is very poignant.

Definately. I always send her as my tech specialist as a show of trust, and I know that she will do everything she can to do it right.

It's like that small nod Garrus gives when you ask him to be the first team leader.

Shepard has utter confidence in those two.

Speaking of which, I would have realy liked it if they had implemented something along the lines of what they did in Dragon Age Origins in ME2's SM. A conversation with each squad member voicing their opinions, and a unique one for your romanced character.

That would have been nice.
Dragon Age Origins did a better job than both Mass Effects showing the player that they had a team of companions.

Then you are stronger than I am. I sent her there once and have been incapable of doing it since. I worry too much. It would nag at me forever if I ever failed at the valves.

Knowing she's on the line spurs me to greater speed.  I slam through that section with Zaeed and Samara.

I put Tali in the vents. Miranda says we need a tech specialist. Tali's the most apt for that. And it adds more intensity and excitement as Buddha said.

Garrus team leader both times. And Tali & Garrus for human reaper fight.

I believe the VS needs DLC more than any other character. They got a raw deal in ME2.
