Good point, Buddha. I guess I am a little scarred from having been horribly close to failing the vents the time she was in (missed one and nearly ran into the last room before realising what it was). Now that had the adrenaline pumping.

Just finished the SM again, but this time I kept the collector base. Of course I felt bad afterwards, because Tali was really against it, but she didn't pipe up when TIM produced me with a choice.

What she says if you keep the base? I never did it... if the choice is pissing Tali or TIM, the second will always be the choosen.

She didn't speak unfortunately. Had team dextro, Garrus said the place was an abomination, but if we blew it up then all the deaths would be for nothing.

To clarify:

She doesn't seem to speak at the precise moment of choosing whether to keep it or not. She does however express her scepticism afterwards, back on the Normandy.

Everyone expresses skepticism/disgust at the base being kept EXCEPT for Mordin. He's the ONLY one who is ok/endorses the idea of keeping the Collector Base. Everyone else has varying themes on Cerberus and the Illusive Man.

I've had Tali speak up at the Collector base on several playthroughs, actually. She just won't speak up if Shepard seems to be in support of destroying it (because she has no reason to convince him). She'll speak up about it if Shepard chooses the dialogue option in support of keeping it, but there is an order to it - Thane and Samara will speak up instead if they're in your squad. It always works for me when I bring Garrus.

That is not quite correct.

Garrus, Mordin, Zaeed, & Legion all advocate keeping the base at the time of the decision. However, every squad mate, when you return to the Normandy, expresses some uncertainity, uneasiness, disapproval etc about Cerberus having the base.

Back onTopic... it's not surprinsing that Mordin is the only one who supports the decision of keeping the base. It's stranger that  no one questions you if you destroy it...

I think we'll get to keep basically our entire squad into ME3. If bioware goes ''Oh, the Normandy blew up again and you last all your squad. Tough luck.'' on us, I will be really pissed. I'm going to assume that the ones that made it through the suicide mission alive will be on your squad in ME3. If I won't have Tali and Garrus with me in the final fight against the reapers, I will be really, really, really, pissed.

Personally, I'm hoping that we will have available every squaddie from both games that lived through both games. The final party should be an open invite to everyone.

I don't think BW would have done the SM if they didn't have a plan to bring at least some squaddies back. I guess that the next DlC may be the answer... the achievements makes me suspicious that something I hipotized some time ago could be going to happen...
