Ah, paragon interrupts. If only everything could be solved with a paragon/renegade interrupt, then the galaxy would be better off.

And I have just realised, my Shepard left her barrier on. So it's a biotic hug?

I never noticed the dust particles before...

Yeah, it is with Jack's romance 'talk' I believe. And yes, I do have a dirty Shepard...

But, *ahem* to bring this back on to Tali before I derail this...

Do you think that there could be biotic quarians?

Elevator conversation in ME1 says they are rare but do exist.

A bit like biotic turians then? Thanks runescape!

I wonder how exactly biotics manifest themselves in other species. Asari seem to be born with them, humans got them through exposure to element zero. But with quarians and turians, it seems that only a select few 'inherit' biotic abilities.

I belive its from eezo exposure aswell...Which should make Quarian biotics more common than Turians(every ship in flotilla has mass effect core, thus also has element zero that someone can accidently be exposed to).

More common as in % of Quarians with biotics. Not in numbers(Quarians themselves could be considered "rare" in galactic scope of things)

If all other races get biotics due to element zero exposure, then I wonder how Asari are born with it then...

I reckon there Tali would look badass clouded in a biotic mist.

Asari also are all female and live 1000 years. Both of those traits make biotics seem ""not so weird". I am no expert on Asari but maybe their homeworld got allot of eezo so all lifeforms on it are exposed. Its probably wrong but I cant check codex right now

Well, I once had my complete fail save that I decided to not go for the interrupt. I immediatly felt like the worst person ever, reloaded and then took some painkillers to try to forget all about it.

Maybe by you, but as long as I remember it my mind will never forgive me. It was almost as bad as that time I watched the Mass Effect: Love and Loss video on youtube.

Note: Do, not, watch, that video. Whatever reasons you have to watch it, don't. This is not a challenge, you have been warned.

I was looking away from the TV screen the instant the prompt popped up, so I missed it the first time... I changed it, though.

That depends on how you define "fan." I like her a lot and I think her romance, at least on her end, is really sweet.

Alas, Femshep can't do it, and so I never get a chance to romance her. But I do defend her against anyone who tries bashing her in my own groups...

:(  not necessarily.   some of my sheaprds are either too professional to do the hugging of people under their command thing, or just not nice enough.

hi Tali fans :)  don't mind me, I'm just lurking through

There was a CDN thing on how some wildlife on the asari homeworld is biotic.  The planet Eingana mentions biotic wildlife due to environmental exposure, too.

Anyway, since quarians live pretty sealed lives, and their immune systems aren't great, I'd assume that fetal exposure to eezo, AND the fetus subsequently surviving the exposure is pretty rare.  Thus, few quarian biotics.

Indeed you are welcome. You usualy start interesting discussions.

@Buddha. I am not sure immune system has anything to do with surviving eezo exposure... Just like radiation exposure.

I don't think eezo exposure is going to happen except in conjunction with a suit breach, which means exposure to other contaminants.  If the body is already weakened by whatever eezo exposure does to it, the immune system is going to be that much more useless at fending off opportunistic infections.

We're not talking something like gamma radiation:  exposure seems to be due to inhaled particles, as far as I can tell.  (Actually, this isn't a bad analogy for a lot of the more dangerous types of exposure to radiation:  inhaled or ingested radioactive particles.)
