Good point. If ME3 is as big as I hope it will be the whole political structure of the Quarians could be turned on it's head. I mean either way you finish Legion's mission you put yourself in a position to help the Quarians more than anyone has in anything I've ever read about their history. At the very least, some of that has got to rub off in Tali, maybe this Daro and a few other admirals will go rogue.

Han'Garrel and Shala seem to be the most level headed. Koris has the right idea with the peace but he is a total d*cknose and I fully expect him to do something stupid, like help Daro to try and discredit Shepard.

At least the quarians seem more level headed about the existence of the Reapers. Unlike a certain Council we know, unless they are keeping something from Shepard due to his affiliations. Tali can loan Shepard a grenade if things get out of hand.

Is anyone else besides me worried that BioWare will ass it out and make Tali dead by default should you choose not to import a save from ME2 to ME3? I mean, I seriously doubt they will given the uproar it would cause, but there's always that possibility.

I doubt they'd do that given the existence of this thread. Plus, we're probably all going to import our saves with Tali alive and very much our LI's anyway. Lastly, if for some reason you don't have a ME2 save it's pretty easy to run through the game in a few days, less if you don't bathe or sleep.

Naah, not death, but I assume it is quite likely that in the default import she'll be exiled, making everything more difficult for her and for us when we'll have to deal with quarians.

In the default ME1's import for ME2 almost any choice was renegade or neutral, so I guess that for ME3 will be the same and she'll be exiled. Not that I'm going to use the default imports

I did a default start once when I first got ME2 for the PC (played on the xbox before) and Wrex was dead!?!?!?!
Outrageous. But after watching the trailer, it does seem pretty much set in stone doesn't it? But I will be importing a non-exiled Tali.

I believe in ME3 Default for squadmates:

No DLC characters.
Legion sold to Cerberus
Jack dead by laser to face.
Tali dead by explosion in engine room.
Thane impaled.
Garrus got headshot after vents.
Samara dead by Seeker swarm.


Final squadmates are:

Mordin( escorted abducted crew/colonists), Grunt( alone any 2nd fire team leader can survive and he alone can survive holding the line loyal or not), Miranda and Jacob.

Mordin( engineer)
Grunt( soldier)
Miranda( sentinel)
Jacob( sentinel/vanguard)


P.S.

Also every loyalty mission done but in worst outcome( give evidence to Admirals for example).

Hmm... possible but I'd replace Mordin with Tali, because at least one character for theGeth/Quarian situation should be there, and as you hipotized is very Likely that Legion in the default will be sold to Cerberus. Ah, and Jacob dead in the vents too... he volounteered.

But... They are all my favourite characters...
I too, think that as veterans since ME1, aside from Miranda, Tali and Garrus probably have the highest chance of being squaddies in ME3. But maybe I am biased and incredibly optimistic.

If that's the case, then she should be alive by default, since the only way she can be exiled is if don't have over the data, thereby earning her loyalty and allowing her to survive the suicide mission.

Well, there are other ways she can die on the SM. Wrong team leader if she is the tech specialist, explosion in the engine room. But I see what you mean. More probability for her to be alive if loyal.

Go to goole translate, and set to English-Vietnamese. Then type in "Will Tali ever die" (no question mark). Then copy and paste the Vietnamese part and switch it to Vietnamese to English. What do you guys think?

It's my assumption that everyone will live by default, but in the worst/easiest way. FailShep in ME1 took either neutral or renegade responses. So we'd be looking at stuff like exiled Tali, no genophage cure, Sidonis dead, Vido dead, etc.

i think it will be half the crew minus dlc's and it will be chosen at random.
