Also, if you're looking at things age/mechanics wise, Asari are more space elves. Krogan are space orcs. Haven't put much thought into what the others might correlate into.
I'm trying to think how many times I've played through ME2...
I've actually gone through and romanced everyone but Jacob, so that's...five right there.
One playthrough using ME2 default (didn't romance anyone). Up to six.
Renegade FemShep (stayed loyal to Liara). Seven.
Played through four or five times with my canon Shep (counting the Talimancing bit. Yes, my canon Shep is the Talimancer :-p) so that brings me up to...ten or eleven. I'm going to go back once more because I only recently discovered I can try and talk the Quarians out of the war (until recently I always just blew through the Rayya, going directly from the beginning of the trial to flying over to the Alarei), but I'm not counting
future playthroughs.
And right now I'm playing through the PS3 version, again being a Talimancer.
So I have around 12, 13 playthroughs under my belt.
I've heard it argued that the PS3 version is better, but there are too many scenes where the audio is out of sync (and by a second or two at that) with what's going on in game. Also, that slightly annoying habit of sentences getting cut off midway through in the 360 version is even more pronounced in the PS3 version. The de-sync bothers me more than anything else in video games, so imho, the PS3 version, while the most bang for your buck (as it has much of the DLC prepackaged) is worse from a technical standpoint, even though it might
look better.
But back on topic.
Tali rules!
