Shouldn't he have already attempted to retake the ship with the other marines?

He definitely knows about the geth attack, he's the one that convinces 2 of the admirals to let Shepard and Tali retake the ship.

I don't believe he was at 100% after Tali's recruitment mission.

This, and it's not like he's going to be involved in every mission the quarians mount.  He's just a marine:  he goes where he's told, when he's told.

Edit:  And to comment on what Pacifien said:  probably not.  After all, the point of Tali going to the Alarei wasn't for her to retake it.  It was for her to die before she was disgraced by exile.

In her first conversation I believe she says he got away with a minor infection and is now fine.
I'd look for a video of it, but there's no way in hell I'm searching "tali kal'reegar".

Raal and Gerrel had discussed it beforehand with Kal (If you saved him), they thought she could do it and sway public favor to her case.

I don't think Vetor would have, Reger oh heck yea he would have. I think he has a thing for Tali anyway, he just Hides it with his constant Yes Ma'm. Though I was half expect him to say he would be in his bunk, after talking to him after the Loyalty mission.

Agreed on both accounts. He's just a grunt, no pun intended. Tali was a special case more than likely, because it really does sound like she wanted the mission on Haestrom to begin with. Using her position as an admiral's daughter for leverage.

my sheperd doesn't want any intimate interests (with anyone in the future)... but totally wouldn't mind just giving some alien chick (or who ever else) a position as to working directly for sheperd (as long as they keep every emotion of themselves to themselves)

Aw, thanks :)

There was a lengthy discussion on Reegar earlier today where I made my feelings quite clear. But yes, the guys a foot soldier through and through.

I think it would be nice to appoint Tali as our XO, let her get some leadership experience under Shepard. It would certainly help build her back up, and she needs it looking at her "condolences" dossier.

But then what would Garrus do?

Nah, Tali knows where she does her best work.  The engine compartment (or Shep's quarters).

I love Tali, but leadership just isn't her thing. It would take a lot of practice to get a skill like that to a decent level.

Well didn't mention this earlier but had an Odd dream before waking up today well rather yesterday just haven't been to sleep yet.

Anway I don't know where it came from or how Tali ended up in it. But was moving across the Deck of my guess some kind of Super Tanker Cargo Vessel moving over top or on the water. Was posing as a slave/prisoners on the deck, sneaking my way toward the stern where the doors to the Cabin area was. As I round one cluster of batter/brused/bleeding dirty, smelly, and frightened people on the deck I saw Tali laying down proped up on her side against the side lip of the Ship. This kind of shocked me because this was not was I would expect for multiple reasons, but also how badly she looks like she was beaten. I slipped closer behind what looked like blue suns guards and croched down beside her and she wasn't moving or making any sound. Her suit didn't look punctured, but the outer layer looked badly worn with some material fraying and the once purple shaw over her head and what ever you call it around her waist area was sploched with what looked like grease or oil, or what ever. I reached down to check he pulse on her neck at first I started to panic when didn't feel anything then moved my figures and pushed the ornations around her next aside to feel the side of the suit itself and felt a weak but steady pulse. During this she started to move a little trying to raise her arm but from the motion I could tell she was in pain, I looked toward her covered face and could see her trying to turn her head to look at me. Before she could speak I layed my hand on the side of her helmet and and raise my other hand in the gesture to stay silent, then touched her shoulder and tried to smile and let her know it was going to be ok and hide my anger, rage and sorrow.

I felt someone walking up behind me and turn to face a blue suns guard. Seeing as that my orginal plan is now changed from covert I start tearing the place apart. Woke up after that so dunno how it ended.

I have a topic.

The general consensus is that bodily waste for quarians, and by extension Tali, is simply stored in the suit until it can be discharged at a suitable location. However, during Talis loyalty mission Korris is refereed to as a "suit wetter." Doesn't the use of that term in a derogatory way effectively nullify the idea that it "going in the suit" is something all quarians do?

You took a depressant and injected it directly into the thread's veins. I blame you. On the other hand, we can come up with a new topic to discuss.
Where do you think Tali first created Chiktikka? Or, where did the Paus come into the story for her drone if it is vas Paus?

The topic of waste is covered in the books. It is indeed stored in the suit until a facility is reached and it can be removed. Suit wetter was probably an oversight.

My theory is that the Paus is the example "everyship" that quarians use in fables or children's stories.

And here I thought I was so clever..all well.

Well, to add input to your Chiktikka topic, I imagine her to have created it at a very young age, much to she shock and pride of her parents. "Paus" in my opinion is supposed to be her clever way of saying "paws" or hands. The omnitool being worn on the hand. Basically, Chiktikka of the hand.

Clever. Both yours and NB's theories are valid I suppose. Tali being a genius from a young age also fits too. A genius amoung geniuses.

How do you think I felt went I actually saw her like that in the dream. Hell When I woke Up I was even a little depressed mixed with alot of wtf. But as for the drone, I think we had this before. I think it was suggested she named it after a favorite childhood stuffed animal.

Makes sence as vas seems to mean of, or of the.

Well due to this seeming to get dead again, a new topic maybe. Is there any significance of the design on her shaw, or belt like cloth acessory, or is it just a pattern she may like?

Earlier it was suggested that the swirl pattern may be something like a family crest. I liked it.

Maybe, but didn't see anything like that on her dads body, also her Aunty had a pattern that looked like a Spiral Galaxy, or even one could say a Hurrican.

Game restrictions. Not every quarian can have a customized suit like Tali.

Would think they would add a little more resource to add a little varriantion to minor charactors. Found out it isn't all that hard if there are other resources that could be tacked on to a model thanks to my work with nifscope over the last couple months.

Consoles.
But anyway, Tali gets her own suit because she's awesome :P

True but a 1MB file isn't going to kill a console, unless its already pushed near the breaking point. I even looked up the size of the full armor I made in nifscope 1238 KB all I did was remove old chest piece add in a new one from another file tweaked the glauntlets alignment to hide the seem and added a cape to the armor and changed the Texture value pointer. New armor made from recycled material 100% eviromental friendly as well. :)

Part of me things she picked the patern because it was appealing to her. Well to the character designer anyway.
