Honestly I expected her to appear and trying to stop us from reactivating Legion, or at least she should have had something to say in the debriefing, instead of having Jacob in "Captain Obvious mode" :P

Would've been cool if she came to the AI core and begged you not to reactive Legion there.

It would have been just logic, I really, REALLY expected to see her appearing from the IA core's access in the moment I started the activation procedure. Meh, such a great occasion wasted.

...

Oh damn, another ToP. Well, ok.

Yes, I'm still working on that blessed comic. I've never thought that it would have required all this time to be completed.

Also about "boycotting" ME3 if Tali isnt in... I will still buy the game(normal PC edition) becuse it will be a good game. But if Tali/Garrus is in it will be more than a good game, it will be the epic final part of trilogy, which will make me buy Collectors edition for PC and regular for PS3.

I'd be VERY upset if they simply waved their hands and didn't bring back any of the crew from ME1 or ME2.  They took a rather big risk by allowing you to potentially kill off your entire crew in the SM, but that's their own damn fault, and if they can't figure out a way to work both everyone surviving and everyone dying into the story, then they should get out of the video-game making business.

Whoever thought Suicide mission should be in SECOND part of TRILOGY is kinda weird honestly. Its perfect for the END not the middle ><. But like you said its up to them to fix this mess. I think just having a default save(if you dont import) that has half of the characters alive, and developing content for those while the other half gets short cameos(Wrex style). And if you import a save with everyone dead? tough luck you will have 50% shorter game. Most people didnt lose more than 2 squadmates. And almost everyone who plans to import save got one with no one dead.

Hell, even at the BEGINNING it would have made sense, 'cause then they could have used the second chapter to re-build the crew.  But introducing a plot point which could kill off EVERYBODY important, right before starting the final chapter??  Just bad planning...  It makes me worried for what they're gonna do in ME3, 'cause the only person who's guaranteed to not be dead is Liara, and she's gonna be Shadow Brokerin' for you instead of being a squadmate (just as well, given the life expectancy of Shep's crew...)

The hope is that BW made ME2 ending with the Suicide Mission with already a plan to bring back at least some of the squadmates in ME3 too, but the lead. writer is still mr. Mac Walters that doesn't seem to care about any character who's not Liara. So... hmm, we'll see...

I'd hate to see hand-waving with regards to bringing "back" squadmates who died in the SM.  I would make their sacrifices be for nothing.  I'm just curious how they're going to handle not having a squad going into ME3.  It makes me nervous...

About the SM, I'm just going to go ahead and trust that Bioware knows what the hell they're doing. I haven't been disappointed with ME1 and ME2 so far, and it felt obvious from the beginning that SM wasn't really going to be suicidal, despite some people's insistence on it (Hell, even Tali says ''Oh who are you kidding Shepard? None of us are coming back from this mission.). We might have a little more suicidal suicide mission in ME3 hopefully.
And Marshal, I think he meant as in bringing back the survivors, not the people who died. That would be very weird if they did.

Of course. Tali's obviously someone who knows the exact whereabouts of Shepard and what he's doing at all times.

Off course not, but in the moment you bring aboard a Geth I suppose she'll keep an extra eye on Shepard to see what happens next.

The Tali I know would stay in engineering, trusting Shepard to make the right decision.

I am about to be killed and flayed alive by admitting it, but:
If you fail her loyalty misson and turn in the evidence and then try to apologize, Shepard says something like ''After the mission, you have a home to return to'', to which she responds with that line.

You voluntarily failed her LM during a playthrough? That must be painful. I will never try that :|

thats what mighty save+load is for. It saves lives.

And I am nervous as hell when thinking about ME3 aswell... It will either be biggest dissapointment in my gaming career or potentialy the best game ever.
I just want ME trilogy to be on par with Star Wars/Lord of the rings. Something I will return to multiple times in my life and something I would definitly show to my children if I ever have any. But if ME3 is entirely new team then it wont be a trilogy. Just 3 good games with email consequences and diffrent characters in every game.
Please do not dissapoint... please

You have no idea. It was probably even worse than failing Thane's loyalty mission. Goddamn you Bioware for making so many options that I feel like I have to explore! Goddamn you!
Edit: I don't know why, but I was listening to some Rise Against and I kinda felt like this song would fit Tali:

I doubt its bad as seeing her die in the SM. God, it felt like it was almost real seeing Tali getting dragged by those things (sorry Tali fan) My heart literaly just dropped. First thing I did is turn off my 360 and start over the Suicide Mission.

That version is slightly different from the one I have.

Thinking of Tali as the bad luck that blew up the first Normandy is ridiculous! :-P

I made sure to get Garrus and Tali alive through it the first time I tried it, but Thane and Legion... not as lucky.

Everyone survived during my playthrough. Looks like I'm gonna be buying a crapload of DLCs when ME3 comes out.

Same here, although one day I do intend to make a playthrough where only my favs (Garrus, Tali, Zaeed, Mordin, Legion and Thane) survives.
Anyway, I've been thinking about something for a while. Is Tali a Paragon or a Renegade?

I've always thought a little bit of both, maybe a little more renegade. Seems like Shepard's decision's steer her one way or the other. As I remember the Warlord mission ( Okear ) if you run into the Asari from ME1 that you let go in the genophage labs, and decide to let her go again, Tali says something like " I can understand second chances, but a third time?....."   It's been awhile, so my memory may be fuzzy.

Tali is mostly Paragade. She's willing to be nice to everyone, but will not give a jerk the benefit of her kindness. That, and she supports the genocide of the geth(or not depending on your persuasion.)

You must have a very fuzzy memory as you have to cheat to have Tali there. I've always considered Tali a Paragon in speech but a Renegade in actions, she always tries to be nice when talking to people but at times she's more renegade than Garrus when it comes to the choices.

Fuzzy yes, but it's fun to cheat on some play throughs to open up other conversation options.
