Hmmm, the Veil is weird, the visor is off, the throat lines are not as symmetrical as they should be and whole thing looks sketchy.
God I love criticizing things that I could never even do half as good as. Makes me feel good about myself.

My party in ME1 consists, usually, of Wrex and Tali. Unless my character is the Engineer class, in which case I have no mechanical reason why she should be in my party.

Also, I bought a brand, spankin new Ford Focus last year.  I named her Tali.

Indeed. I found many similarities between ME's LIs and LIs of other Bioware games.

Tali urges, nay, demands that you let her take Veetor'Nara for treatment and hates Cerberus, both of which are paragon paths. On the other hand she does voice her desire for renegade choices with regards to the Geth, such as destroying the heretics (which is understandable). She's not really what you would call a "black and white" character, but she knows right from wrong.
Personally I think her morals are neither based on "Live and let live" or "By any means necessary", but something more, and this makes her all the more interesting.

Walters made her the only character in the whole saga that cannot die, he made her the reason of why Shepard is still alive, he wrote an entire DlC only for her an whathever you'll do you're at least forced to be friend of her. I don't hate her or so (she's my canon LI in ME1) but it's a mere fact that no other character is priveledged like Liara. Luckly Walters is still the main writer, but also Patric Weekes, the Tali and Mordin's writer, is still aboard.

Seriously though, it is always good to explore different avenues and do different things in fanfiction. It does help you to understand the characters more. Even if it makes you want to weep some manly tears Nod!
I shall read and review once I have fixed my damn troubleshooting DA2. Not a happy bunny at the moment. Tali can rectify that:

No. Or well, we'll see. I have yet to decide if she commits suicide at the end, but no, she doesn't die yet.

I cared so very little for that when I played as an engineer. Garrus and Tali in my party, all, the time. Kickass tech skills though.

Well, I've personally yet to play it, although my brother has and according to what he says, Merrill is really, really, really dumb and naive.

Well, I honestly have to turn off the music I listen to when I write/read stuff like this, as not only can that bring me to watery-filled eyes alone, but combined with writing/reading it means I'll have to buy a new keyboard soon because of the water damages.
I mean honestly, could you listen to this: , while writing or reading some sad Tali fic and not crack?

Manly tears I hope? Yeah, fanfiction can do that. But with the music I listen too...
*Listens to her music* Ah, now I'm listening to a pirate rock band whose CD I bought after I saw them busking and started dancing. Quite difficult to cry during such music!

Tali is naive in ME1. But never dumb. Just not educated of ways outside of the flotilla much.

And yeah, biotic hug, hehe! Why does she have her barrier up around Tali anyway?

The only time I remember her being ''naive'' in ME1 is the part where she gets set up by Fist's men and I doubt she even knew that the Shadow Broker never saw anyone in person, can't imagine the Flotilla having extensive lessons about the Shadow Broker.
And it doesn't have to be manly tears. One of the many bonuses of being bi I guess.
