Dont rommance anyone in ME1 ( and befriend Garrus/Tali by doing their mission). That feels loyal enough

I find more good that the relation builds up with trust and time, and then flourish in ME2.

I like both ways. As it is, it's nice with all the long build-up instead of the flirt-at-first-sight. If they'd been romanceable in ME1, I wouldn't have minded. It would've been interesting with them coming back to the crew in ME2 and all that.
What matters however, is that we CAN romance them.

I too, am glad that they weren't LI's in ME1.

Both were very 'alien' aliens. And I can see why Bioware was testing the waters. However, from a gaming point of view, they both built up a foundation of trust and friendship in ME1. There was so much admiration and familiarity and loyalty in Shepard by ME2, that it made the romance so much more meaningful.

That, and also I believe that Tali grew up more in ME2 and her character really started to shine. And with Garrus, his relationship with Shepard had progressed from student/mentor in ME1, to equals in ME2.

Also, I can't resist a guy who survived a rocket to the face and laughed about his facial scars afterwards.

How do you implement a signature? I've been trying to work this out on my own for a while but I'm getting nowhere. Also where can I learn how to upload a custom avatar? It's embarassing seeing my generic Shepard next to everyone elses unique and artistic avatars.

Do you think Tali will be plant-like? Does that make sense with the dextro-amino acid plot device? Maybe Quarians are a race of sentient space plants. I cant help but to think that they might be covered in moss or something just now for some reason.

Adding a signature was easy enough but uploading a custom avatar...that's going to make my little laptop cry a bit (she doesn't like big programs).
And I'm glad you appreciate the pic. I love the way it combines my earliest and latest gaming obessions into one adorable little image.

Dextro-amino acid= plants? Like Garrus? He is one tough son of a... tree?
With their super weak immune systems and sterilized enviorments they wouldnt be covered in moss.. at all

I was wanting to do a painting on Shepard and Team Dextro in "retro" 21st century gear.  Shepard in woodland digicam fatigues with a decked out M16A4.  Garrus in a Ghilli suit with a scoped bolt action rifle.  Tali in woodland digicam, combat engineer patch on her shoulder, and a pump action 12 gauge equipped with holographic sight and extra shells on a stock saddle carrier.

It's rather annoying that I have the imagination for these things but lack the talent to paint them.

I'm going for them being mammals descended from avians.  She has some somewhat bird-like features, especially the legs.

Hmm, it could take some time but by using COD and Rainbow Six it could be possible...but it would take a looong time.
No promises but I'll see what I can scratch up.
