Part of me things she picked the patern because it was appealing to her. Well to the character designer anyway.

I would love a small snippet about her suit in me3. Explaining why she has certain parts of it.

That would be intresting actually. By the way when I mentioned the dream, most of my are very very lucided. To the point that it feels like I am actually there. I even have woken up a few times sore in places that recieved blows, even woke up one day after of half been hit in the leg by a .357 mag round in a dream to find a red mark right where the round hit and about the size of the entrence hole would be from that round type, and creeper yet a matching red mark right where the exit would have been.

The mind is a powerful thing. It has to paralyze the body in order to stop itself from acting out its dreams. But to get back on topic, Tali's powerful mind allows her to hack at the speed of a machine with over a thousand processes in the future.

Yea that would be powerful in some aspect. Though I think Tali has some assitance from an onboard VI. Maybe we can get her to fix the Shepard VI.

* edit add wait Scratch that Shepard VI plus Nevstim Deluxe, might mean tali is to distracted by the ghost in her suit to fight. *

*Woot exactly 14 hours later and the DL is finished time to finally get some sleep *

She likely does have some assistance, but still. Tali is an engineering and mechanical genius.

This goes back a few pages, but it stood out enough for me to comment on it:

Concerning the Pilgrimage, is it stated anywhere that the destination of the Pilgrimage is decided before the quarian leaves? Because I was under the impression that no one sent Kenn to Omega, he just ended up there by his own choice. It would make more sense to me that the quarian who goes on a Pilgrimage gets to decide where she/he will go and can even go to several different places while trying to locate a suitable item to bring back.

So I don't think this is a matter of Kenn's parents/the Conclave being irresponsible by sending him to Omega. I think he went there on his own. Unless, of course, it's clearly stated somewhere that the Pilgrimage destination is determined in advance.

As for Tali's suit, there seems to be a confusion between the two games concerning quarian suits. In ME1, it seems like quarian suits are just like any other set of armour: they're mass produced and come in recognizable models (eg. Onyx, Colossus, etc.). But ME2 seems to make the point that the suits (at least, some of them) are unique to an individual. Tali's suit is certainly unique. I think Kal's one is too (it's not the same as the generic red ones). Not sure about Veetor.

And no, I don't think Veetor would've volunteered to help retake the Alarei. He doesn't seem to be very action-oriented, and even by the time of Tali's LM, he sounds like he's a little funny in the head.

On Tali's suit in ME1 and ME2. Is it not possible that the suit is actually layered? There is the primary enviro-suit that keeps her sterile but then outer layers of a kevlar type ballistic material for protection. In ME1, even when she donned different armors, her right arm was still encased in the metal sleeve. To me this implies the underlying enviro-suit was damaged and it could not be removed safely to allow the individual armors for that sleeve to be used there.

Hmm, I never thought that Tali's suit-arm could be the result of damage in ME1. I thought it was just asymmetrical design to look cool. After all, her "cloth wraps" in ME1 are also asymmetrical (the one on her chest is notably pinned up by a strap), so I just thought it was the same thing for that sleeve. But I guess you could be right. It sounds awfully finicky though, considering how wildely different the armour colours in ME1 are...I can't really imagine Tali sticking coloured bits of armour onto her regular suit.

Finicky? For her, or any quarian, to actually change suits would require a clean room before and after the mission. The original Normandy just had the airlock.

Armor would most likely be worn over other clothing as it is now by our armed forces. Like an overcoat or more appropriately, a snowsuit for Tali.

Well, yes, that was my biggest beef with how quarian armour changed in ME1. I think the unique suit approach they have in ME2 is a lot more believable. I just pointed out that they seemed to have retconned this in between the two games.

Yeah, but she doesn't look any bulkier with any of the other suits of armour. It really does look like she just changed suits, or recoloured her original one. Which is unrealistic.

I'm hoping the AA pack gives Tali a bit more armor and battle gear. I love her look right now, but it'd be nice to see her in some badass armor for missions. Judging by what they did with the first AA pack (fixing Garrus' armor among them), it's very plausible that they may do it.

Your right on both counts there.  My suggestion is the only feasible one I could think of but it is obviously exceptionally thin if it is worn that way. :)

Her ME2 suit must have armor built in.  I believe one of the books some have read indicated this.
Shields would necessarily need to be stronger though due to the lack of any real armor protection.
Game holes that a 20 pack of bound vorcha can fit through abound in the ME universe.

Garrus' AA outfit was pretty much just his intact armor with different colors. I want Tali's outfit to be a bit more than that.

I just don't want them to put sunglasses on her because that would make no sense what so ever.

Thank Keelah it is back!

Think of Tali wearing a tie or have a big purple bow on her hood for the next AA

Cute, but I don't think that's the direction most want it to go in.

I want Tali wearing something that looks similar to the Cerberus assault armor (only with a quarian visor to shield her entire face).

New outter appareance?  Don't know about that.  I kinda like the way she looks now but bulky armor would not be as... distracting?
