Why bash others? Seriously.

And I have just downloaded and installed Arrival. But I can't play it until I come back from work later on tonight. Darn it... But I have heard that there is no squadmate content.
I also find it amusing that Tali just sat there on Shepard's couch, in his quarters, and just blatantly listened in on the whole conversation. While Hackett just acted like there was no one in the room. Haha!

Someone wanted a pic of a Tali hug right? Only got a femshep one I'm afraid guys, but here is is:

That being said, I'm so glad I'm not one of those people that white knights my favourite character as soon as someone mentions them on another forum, heck, I dont even check things I'm not interested in, and generally this topic is based around Quarian culture thoughts and Tali (which is interesting), lots of people who deliberately check other forums for offhand jokes to start an argument, still, theres always times when forums 'bridge' and with a 'bridge' comes the troll.

Ahh, anyway, yeah, still a bit dissapointed that theres no voice chat for other main characters, though I expect the cost of doing so would be high, or they'd leave certain characters out causing even more criticism.

Though, Quarians being very weak immune wise, I wonder how they dealt with foreigners on Rannoch, viral screening and forced to wear suits to prevent infections themselves, or just heavy viral screening, afterall theres no proof that natural bacteria might cause an unhealthy reaction to the environment itself, cant recall if this has ever been discussed from a planet side view from when they lived there previously.

I like criticising my favorite characters. I don't love characters because they are perfect; I love them because they are people and people are flawed.

In Tali's case, I actually think she might have a skewed perspective on the value of the lives of others. If you listen to her during combat she clearly enjoys it. She gets a thrill out of it, even celebrating when she gets a kill.

"HA!" - Tali

This is interesting to me because Tali is only ever killing non-quarians. That must make it much easier for her to dehumanize them, so to speak. I wonder if she'd have the same enthusiasm killing quarians? It might be good for her, to see lethal combat from a more rounded and even perspective. It might not be so thrilling to kill her own people for a change.

I like the girl, but she's a little bit of a psychopath sometimes.

I guess that very likely in the first decades after reclaiming Rannoch, the planet will be in quarantine and eventual visitors won't be allowed to go further to the planet than its orbit: part of the fleet might be reclycled to make space stations where welcome non-quarian ambassadors and visitors in general, or eventually some isolated areas of the planet should be used so. In both cases probably it will pass generations before quarians will be able to spend long times (days or weeks, not few hours) outside their planet and/or with non-quarians without their suits.

Doesn't everybody, including the always mission-focused Mordin, celebrate when they kill someone in combat?

Garrus: Scoped and droppoed!

Jacob: Have a nice trip!

Kasumi: Haa Haa!

Zaeed: Siddown!

Miranda: Yes!

Legion: Target processed!

Mordin: Flammable!  Or... Inflammable!  Forget which, doesn't matter!

I think the only ones that don't get overly into fighting are Samara and Thane.

I was more thinking of Mordins ''Thought I was harmless did you?'' line, but that works too. Point proven I believe.

Sure, but it is different because their carnage is spread around evenly. Tali however never has to kill other quarians. I think that it probably means her exposure to combat has had a different effect on her psychy than it has everyone else. In ME1 she even says that she can't imagine fighting against her own people.

Fighting 'her people' is different than fighting other Quarians. For example, I can't see Tali fighting the Flotilla as an outside aggressor. However, I can see Tali fighting other Quarians that don't share the same values and beliefs that 'her people' do (ie Golo). I agree, she has never had to kill other Quarians, but I think she would if put in the situation. I feel she would see it as her duty to kill one, two, or a group of Golo type characters that were a threat to the Flotilla. In this way she is the same as Shepard who also only fights other humans that don't share his values and beliefs.

The question I have is why are there not alot of Quarian Engineer Mercenaries? It would be good money which would go to help the Flotilla with currency, ships, and supplies. Is it because Quarians are not trusted and ostracized by the rest of the galaxy or is it because they are peaceful in nature?

I Disagree nobody has the right to not love Tali, since she is the most outstanding Charakter in Game Development...and basicly ...we need a Tali Movie ^^...or Tali DLC... Bioware...or at least EA ...dont you see ??? Make Squad content  DLC´s you can earn a ****load of money... I would buy it...for sure.

Thats for sure better , because with all love for tali, we still need some other charakters around to make me 3 a great game ^^... If everybody would feel like I do there would be only Tali, Shepard, Joker, and Mordin^^

Yeah, it would make money. But I would rather that Tali had a major role in in ME3, and have her as a squadmate as opposed to some 3 hours DLC.

Trust Thane and Samara to be the mature ones. That's what being a parent does to you. Hehe.

Taht they doesnt have the right to do it, since it is falls from my view doesnt keep people from doing it. So many people doesnt have the right to do something and still they do it, I just allow the option, that they do the wrong thing, but it has a positive side effect

I have not pre-ordered me3 yet. The only reason I haven't is Tali. I am waiting for more information about the third game. I have decided that if I know beforehand that Tali in a playable character in me3 I will pre-order the highest tier of the game (collector's edition?). If I know Tali isn't a playable character I will not pre-order and will not buy a new copy. I will go to a used game vendor and buy a used copy there so that EA will not receive my money. If there isn't any information beforehand that she's a playable character or not I'm not sure what I will do. I understand that I am only one person and in the great sceme of things it really won't make a difference to EA's bottom line. Of course I could be indignant and say if Tali isn't in the game I won't buy it or play it at all, but who am I kidding right.

Honestly, I am just waiting for information on the collectors edition.

EDIT: I would be verry disappointed if  Tali ended up not being a squad mate but I will likely end up buying it regardless.

I am with you, no Tali no new copy, I will just wait until my cousin played it ^^ We need to support good devdlopers thats why I buy nearly everything from Bioware^^ even if iI easily could go across 2 Streets to play at my cousins home  after work ^^... but if there is no Tali... We need to make a statement.

That's retarded.
No only won't it matter the least bit, at all, it's also dumb to not buy a game from a great developer just because a single squadmate was removed. You guys are overreacting.

Don't get me wrong I am definitely buying a copy of me3, it just a question of pre-order or not, new or used. It all hinges on Tali.

Honestly? I agree with Nod. People who say they won't buy the game if blah-de-blah isn't a squadmate are just over reacting. Of course I will still buy the game right away if team dextro aren't squaddies! I'm not along on the Mass Effect ride just for the characters, there is so much more to the series than them (although they do make it extra awesome!)

Besides, if Tali isn't a squaddie, she may still have an epic role. (Like Wrex did in ME2.)

Well, I personally I think the best parts of Bioware's games are the characters, and if they ripped team dextro from me at the beginning of ME3, I would stand an hour in front of my monitor screaming ''NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO''.
Fortunately, Bioware's not retarded. They're not going to do something like that, they've already used it once and they would be incredibly dumb to try it again.
And here's to hoping Tali will be a squaddie and an LI for ME3, and if not that, at least have a super-awesome role.

I'm pretty sure that LI's will have the opportunity to continue as LI's in ME3. That has already been hinted at since ME2 came out with the 'repercussions warning' about LI's in ME3.

And considering the fanbase for Tali (and Garrus.) I am sure that both will feature heavily, I mean, they have already followed Shepard through BOTH games. And they are two of the most popular characters.
