I'm pretty sure that LI's will have the opportunity to continue as LI's in ME3. That has already been hinted at since ME2 came out with the 'repercussions warning' about LI's in ME3.

And considering the fanbase for Tali (and Garrus.) I am sure that both will feature heavily, I mean, they have already followed Shepard through BOTH games.

Like I said:

Fortunately, Bioware's not retarded.

And they are two of the most popular characters.

I feel so.... mainstream.

Edit: Another top ripped from Tasha's greedy clutches! Hell yeah!

Found this just now actually. Interesting idea of Tali under the mask.

Agreed with Tasha. Leave the other fanbases alone, everyone have the right of support his/her favourite character.

I Disagree nobody has the right to not love Tali, since she is the most outstanding Charakter in Game Development...and basicly ...we need a Tali Movie ^^...or Tali DLC... Bioware...or at least EA ...dont you see ??? Make Squad content  DLC´s you can earn a ****load of money... I would buy it...for sure.

Please... this is the kind of n00bish behaviour that enmied to 1/2 of the users out there the Talifans... you can think it, but be kindle enough to don't offend anyone.

Also... Mac Walters said something about the fact he checks the Polls Section to decide wich characters treat with silk gloves. I guess that if it's true we don't have to be much worried. If the worst happens I think I'll buy ME3 anyway... first of all she MUST appear somewhere even if only as NpC, secondary, she's my favourite character, but not the only one I like. Whipe out both her and Garrus and then I'll enrage.

And screw the "mainstream" thing! It doesn't work always like with Twilight or Avatar... sometime a story or a character takes a lot of appreciations only because it's well done!

Don't think she said it here, but I remember her talking about how she only liked ''Underground'' bands and that probably no-one else would have heard of the bands she liked.

I guess the point is that she likes those bands, not that she listents to them only because they're not mainstream. That would be "Hipster ME" material xD

Honestly? I agree with Nod. People who say they won't buy the game if blah-de-blah isn't a squadmate are just over reacting. Of course I will still buy the game right away if team dextro aren't squaddies! I'm not along on the Mass Effect ride just for the characters, there is so much more to the series than them (although they do make it extra awesome!)

Besides, if Tali isn't a squaddie, she may still have an epic role. (Like Wrex did in ME2.)

Honestly I play it only for the charakters.

Or maybe you could say because the universe is awesome and I enjoy reading every bit of text about it. But why that, because of the charakters that specify each species are well designed and  interesting.

Now imagine ME3 ..:Shepard is not the char you play, all squaddies are just shown in one brief sequenze, and the whole game would be  about you being some soldier on earth defending against the reapers in the last line. Waiting for Shepard and the help to arrive.Ok Bioware is not retared I have trust in them, so they will not do that.

But imagine it, it still could be a great game, there could be great charakters engaded, he collects people on the streets for a team to do...whateva.. even if the game was great and the charakters also... I would say....wtf .. where are my mates, and would most likely ignore it, or at least I would be angry about it.

Because to be honest, the gameplay of Masseffect besides the charakters and talk is....medicore...in fact it got way worse in ME2 ...stupid shining ammunition clips running the atmo, our wepons got better so now we have to reaload (lol?),  no new dresses for the crew expect for expensive download content, less roleplay elements, no inventory (the rest of the hud got better though). Still I consider it a better game, because of the Charakters and their Interaction (and the way better sidequests, rushing the same bunker 5000 times in ME 1 was....jeah...)

But thats ok, because thats what I love in Bioware games, everything since BG1...the story, and the charakters so dropping  the best charakters of a series for me would be terrible.  Still I think Bioware is not stupid and since they produced almost only great games, I have trust.....

Nod, damn you! I missed that by one post. Nice pic though. She reminds me of Bodhi from Baldurs Gate there...

I assume they are German. Misspelings happens al the tyme. *Shrug* Hehe ;D
And yeah, usually I'm not into mainstream things. I listen to all the bands that no one has ever heard of. And come on, I am a female who plays games and Warhammer (bash me, I don't care anymore.)
But with Tali, I liked her before I came onto BSN and discovered that she had a huge fanbase. I assumed that the majority of people would prefer Miranda because she is human, and, well, 'normal.'

So, to bring back the whole hipster thing.
I liked Tali BEFORE she was mainstream!

LoL, it happened the same to me. I felt almost a jerk when I came on the BSN, believing that I was one of the 3 dumbs in the internet who prefered 'mancing Tali instead of Miranda. Glad to be mistaken :wizard:

Slimey? Quarian
suits are more like a second skin, there's not space for liters of
slime in it. You saw slime dripping out from Veetor or Reegar's damaged

Haha. You know, when I discovered that Garrus was an LI in ME2 (I didn't look at any spoilers!!) I was thinking all the way through, 'I must be the only one going through with this romance scene. I must be in a minority.'

Imagine my surprise when I went onto here!
And I'm sure that 150 years in the future, that they will have sanitary functions in their envirosuits clonedzero. Especially considering their immune system and that...

And you are creeped out because she is an alien? Haha, alienmorph, myself and Nod are the wrong people to come to. We are all pretty much xenophiles here :D

Honestly I found creepier the whole "embrace eternity" thing of the asari, at least quarians do it in the classic way xD Ok, that sounded n00bish. Btw I wasn't bashing asari fans. Not intentionally.

No, I agree. Linking envirosuits is much more preferable to mind melding...
What? Haha.

It is obvious that cross species intercourse happens a lot in the ME universe. It just depends on how open minded you are. And personality can go a long way... But not too long I guess. What can I say? I'm shallow.

Besides, I am sure that with Mordin's rather enthusiastic assistance, that Tali and Shepard would have worked out the whole mechanics of the act.

I was also surprised at the huge fanbase Tasha. I played the games so many times before I tried this forum. Tali was the one that made me want to continue play. Sure I've tried the other romance options, but they're not the for me.
Also, I think maybe 'Clonezero' is just baiting the hook......IMO

Yup. People don't seem to put in much effort into their futile arguments these days...

Like I said, I am often in the minority with things. So I was surprised to here that Tali and Garrus were pretty mainstream. I did about 4 playthroughs before coming on here. And geez, I thought I would be considered an 'outsider' for going through with the Garrus love, hehe.

Which means that Tali and Garrus are that awesome, that they deserve to be mainstream!

I believe you got your wish then Tasha.

There was an interesting post a few back, about Legion lying about Tali's home world. I'm under the impression that the geth don't need to or just don't lie. There was also something about the state of the repairs made on Ranoch, Nod maybe?, and I think he was right about the geth not returning the cities back to their past splendor, but just cleaning up the mess from the war and maybe restoring the environment as best they can.

BSN is far from mainstream. Its only visited by about 10-20% of people that played ME2.
What mainstream is clearly shown by the rommance statistics posted some time ago. Miranda having 40% of ALL :/ Thats the mainstream(How to become popular in mainstream: 1. Have boobs 2. wear ****ty clothes 3. PROFIT)

In this way she is the same as Shepard who also only fights other humans that don't share his values and beliefs.

I'm sure she would kill if ordered too, but it would be a terrible situation for her. She says that quarians are expected to be loyal. Quarians just don't go to war for each other. They haven't for the last three hundreds and. The quarians don't even have a death penalty.

Having to fight other quarians, for any reason, would be hard on her I imagine. I also think it would be good for her. About time she killed her own people for a living instead of everyone else. It might give her a new appreciation for the sanctity of life.

Null, you forgot "have an amazing ass."

Al
Seriously, that's the one reason I went through with the Miranda romance (with a different Shepard, of course).

Tali blows her out of the water with personality, though.

And, really, Tasha? You're one of those people? Hipsters are annoying! Don't like a band because no one else does, like a band because you like the sound!

:P

All joking aside, what bands do you listen to, Tasha?

Also, that chibi Tali is adorable.

Quarians do take showers, you know. Bathing in old sweat and dead skin for days on end is just begging for an infection or some kind of skin condition.
