Hehe. You've become even more mainstream Tasha :D.

Also, is it just me who is saddened by Ramirez's passing?
Edit: Well obviously I have to begin the new page on a sad note. *Shrugs* At least I win over Tasha.

I don't remember the groundskeeper saying anything like that.

Guess I'll have to load up one of my playthroughs now, hehe.

Well that's because he doesn't actually say that in the game. The dialogue is there in the files though. Here you go.

Yes. Unfortunately. I do not know why, but here's the message he sent me on FF.net:

Ramirez Wolfen wrote...

Hey it's me. I just wanted to let you know that I've been banned from the bioware social network. I can't even enter the site. I don't know what I did. SO, I'll be at N7 which is a forum dedicated to Mass Effect.

It might be for the so-called ''homophobic'' thread he made that he didn't want all the ME1 and ME2 LI's to become bisexual in ME3. Not sure though.

Oh, when you said passing, Nod, I thought you meant as in actually died. I was more concerned there for a sec, but that still stinks.

Nice top pic Nod and that sucks about Ramirez. Maybe he should have stuck to the Tali thread: diplomacy is not easy some times.

Damn. The title of that thread was a bit far, but his beliefs was something entirely different to the thread title from what I gathered. That really sucks. Do you know how long he is banned for?

And nice top, the colours have been very well done there. I'm also slightly annoyed that you beat me by one post. Neh.
Hey, just stating a fact. Miranda, Samara, Liara and Ash all have funny bumps as well. Jack, not so much. But she is still awesome.

Sometimes, it is just best to stick to the threads that you know. Not all people take it kindly when you have differing views to them.
Also, anyone else wonder why Tali suddenly got a different outfit to all the other quarians?

For-ever. He can't even get on the site, his IP's been banned.

Well, she discovered so many others were wearing them and realised how mainstream it was.
Seriously though, most likely so you can tell her apart from other Quarians more easily, I don't think there even was any other Quarians in ME1.

There was on the Citadel. But only female ones. So they had a whole new design for ME2 just for the male quarians.

And I can't believe he got permanently banned!

He wont be IP banned, since nobody has static IP anymore, that and proxy servers just destroy any IP-banning, or in most cases, reset of router, its normally a bit more intricate than that nowadays.

Anyway, Quarians not being that different, could just be down to lazy programming, or regulation uniform for on ship use, considering I expect most Quarians would be issued the same sort of suit, not sure what'd happen if you had a dwarf Quarian, or a tall one. Might find that due to Tali being offworld and probably exploring alot more than most normal Quarians who perhaps dont move around as often as we did in ME1, Tali has found more of a style that she likes, we did visit some truly random places in ME1 afterall.

Quarians also have the birth control policy, and they deem quarians to be beneficial if they continue their line and rear one quarian (because I believe at times it is a one child policy) that will benefit the Migrant Fleet.

I'd like to rear one Quar.... *ahem*, well, I did go back to being a student and all.

I think the admins are a bit riled up after lots of people got a bit homophobic after DA2, and apparently anyone saying anything slightly bad about non-straight people is a raging homophobe now. I'm damn close to leaving because of this.

I'll admit, I'm not an expert, but he told me that he couldn't get on the site anymore.

Another DLC, another lack of voice acting and crew opinions of missions :(. I know it would take a ton of resources to do that, but wouldn't it be awesome to hear what Samara thinks about what Shepard did in Arrival?

Anyway, this got me thinking about a thread in the general forums a while ago. There was a guy that was able to get interviews with pretty much every important voice actor in ME, from Shepard to Ashley to Saren, he got almost all of them to sit down and talk with him about their characters. There was only one major character who he couldn't even contact, and that was Tali's voice actor, Liz Sroka. Every other actor at least replied to him and said they weren't interested.

Do think it's possible that Liz isn't on board for ME3 for whatever reason? Or is she just not interested in this kind of thing and probably loathes and is scared of all the Talimancer types?

Ooops. I see what I unintentionally did there... Posted Image

And it is sci-fi. And  a computer game. So everyone will be the same height, size and body shape. Can't expect anything different. Even the older quarians have kept their shape!
I guess Tali just likes to customise her suit. She must be a hipster. Posted Image

Cant tell if trollling, wording is a bit off.

Still, as I mentioned before, cost in DLC means that I doubt they will bring all the VAs to the table, and leaving one out and some in, causes whining.  Also from the few things I pick up, I hear that Liz is busy quite often, or might have other obligations, you cant be around for everyone, everytime.

That and I highly doubt shes so vain that shes really into how we view the character she voice acts, and actually, many of us can tell the difference between the character and the VA, though there has been posts and topics on her, as any group of interested fans - cant say I delve that far into it though, no point.

I think she is one of the more famous VA's (apart from Keythe Farley) so she is probably more busy. Mind you, Keythe Farley and Brandon Keener pay lots of attention to the fans of the characters they VA. Maybe one bad experience has put Liz off. Who knows.

By the way what do the Quarians think about human-Quarian relationships? Do they believe it's; weird, unnatural, immoral, shameful or are they fine with it?

I'm positive they'd largely be against it. They might tolerate a quarian messing around with an alien on pilgrimage, but they wouldn't approve of a quarian marrying one. Quarians have an insular society, this has made them slightly xenophobic. Just look at how lowly they regard a human captain. They aren't even impressed by Shepard. As far as they are concerned Tali is the hero that stopped Saren because she is the only one that matters to them.

A lot of quarians would probably roll their eyes, feel disgusted, and even outraged if word got out that Tali and Shepard's relationship was anything other than a fling.

I suspect that they are all expecting Tali to marry a respectable quarian man and produoce children for the fleet.

EDIT

Also Tali has a unique outfit because she is a main character. Having all the other quarians wear the same uniform, with only the colors changed, saves assets. This game wasn't made with a limitless budget.

Could possibly be quite the opposite, humans are quite new to citadel space, they might be nicer to humans, rather than other races, and be more acceptive, as humans dont share any dislike for Quarians, and I think they do take some note on what Shepard did, even though it doesnt concern them directly, I dont feel that they would be foolish enough to not at least have a good knowledge of what is going on within Citadel space, it does afterall give them the unique position to observe.

I think that Quarian and Human relations will be far better than those of the other races, perhaps even bolstered by Tali, since while she is still young, and has lost that nieve streak that she had originally, she is clearly smart enough to make her own decisions, which is shown as they have sent her on difficult assignments in the two years since you were away.

You may be correct regarding other races though.

Consider it for instance, similar to the idea of a elven/human union, and an orcish/human union.  Granted the latter are 'naturally' rare but you get my point.

Humans share plenty of dislike for quarians. Quarians cause for them the same problems as they do for everyone else.

The C-Sec human officer who was "gently interrogating" Lia'Vael. 'Nuff said. Humans treat quarians as scum, like every other race. As Sarevok said, speeching of Tali in particular, staying with some respectable/importan quarian is probably part of the "hight expectancies" that she said that her people have about her. From quarians PoV Shepard is just an alien who helped her in her pilgrame in exchange of her assistance... surely Shep' is respected but he's still a foreigner, and a one that allied with Cerberus also... I don't think that most of quarians will approve the Shep&Tali relationship.

Regardless, the quarians' insular society means they couldn't care less about humanity's arrival on the galactic scene. There is also the unarguable fact that when you board the Rayya none of the quarians you overhear talking sound particularly impressed with Shepard. Even when they do praise you it is because they are surprised a human wasn't worthless trash.

They're xenophobic, fact.
