Tali says herself that the Quarians didn't have strong immune systems to begin with.
Edit: You're losing your edge Tasha...

When asked by Shep aboard ship Tali responds:

" Not as strong as other races definately " and then goes on to describe the theory of why based on the lack of insect life on Rannoch.

The theory that a lack of insect life made plants use large animals to pollinate makes sense. However the idea that large animals would evolve weak immune systems just for the plants is crazy talk. I prefer the theory that most of Rannoch's bacteria is beneficial to the Quarians. It's the only plausible sernario in which an organism would allow itself to be invaded by other life forms. My above points on why their immune systems shouldn't deteriorate in space still stand, however.
Side note:The Quarian's weak immune system would've made them good candidates for synthetic augmentation, since their bodies wouldn't reject the foreign matter as strongly as other races would. I wonder how far they experimented on themselves before the Geth became their new plaything.

The rest of the conversation with Tali about this theory-

"Because our planet lacked insect life, plants developed a symbiotic relationship with large animals to spread seeds or pollen. Most virus' on our world were partially beneficial, so our immune systems evolved to be weak. They were more likely to adapt to contamination than fight it."

So they probably didn't feel the need to 'experiment ' on themselves. As long as they lived on Rannoch, it worked for them. After being ejected into space to live on a flotilla ( their own mistake IMO), the issue of basic survival would probaly have been a priority rather than DNA research.

I'm only leading you into a false sense of security Nod. Yeah, that's right. *Mutters under her breath*

And I think that the reason their immune system worsened was because they were no longer capable of building a defence against new viruses, bacteria and germs. If they never got exposure to germs, then how could their immune system and antibodies adapt to prtoect them? So I think being in a sterile environment will affect their immune system.

And as Jacob pointed out, the theory about the lack of insect life on Rannoch is why they had a weak immune system in the first place.

I just noticed something very obvious.:?

Ashley and Liara had no clothes in ME1.

Jack doesn't have shirt nor bra in default clothes while Miranda shows you boobs( with bra) in ME2.

Tali remained fully clothed.

So who would want to see Tali little nude in ME3?

^Not really.

Some of them are really disturbing.

Also I really don't like she is very human looking and for being very pink in most fanarts I saw.

You're such a downer, but true.
Was more referring to Tasha's comment though.

There is a lot of great Tali fanart out there. Excluding the humans and night elves, that is.

And the... disturbing ones...

But yeah, thank god for fanart *goes to look at her pictures...*

First off, it's There IS, not are.
Secondly, don't, ever, search on google for '*Mass Effect Tali''.

Lol I forgot to add in in the word "images," which would have made that sentence correct.

I've done that before. It's not THAT bad.

If you type that in it's not THAT bad, though I heard if you type in "Mass Effect Tali Face" it comes out pretty bad. I haven't tried it though since the regular search Nod mentioned does contain some disturbing (at best) images and I'd rather not ruin my interpretation of Tali for now.

Anyway on another note (and after watching the "Crysis 2: Be Invisible" trailer 20 times) I present a new suit for Tali!

Don't google "Tali Garrus" on Google Image. I don't need to say why, I suppose. Sic fanartists are sick... sadly most of the other groups thinks that we're all at that level.

@ Saphra Dedan. It works like how I said. In my imagination, they will look like an attractive robot on the outside, except they will be organic.

...but what does a robot look like?

If this is your work, ( and I think it is ) it's outstanding. I've wanted to see what that armor would look like on Tali ( and Garrus )

I would love to see her make use of that knife in combat, as many other's have said before.
