That is fantastic reaper! Really great. Definately gives her a Kasumi-esque edge. In a most brilliant way!
And what does a robot look like? Depends on your imagination, I guess? Or what sci-fi films you've been watching recently. *Shrug* I don't see what your getting at here.

Also, as a straight lady, I admit that I have to turn on the google safety thing when looking for Tali fanart. To me, a lot of it is not giving Tali fans good press, like Alien said.

Always said that Tali should have Kasumi's skills. 

In ME1 she had grenades, in ME2 she doesn't have them (and she says "I'll loan you a grenade" too! >.<).

She uses those useless guns instead of submachine guns.

And I mean, Tali have a knife. She's a uber master engineer with the Flotilla's best close-combat military training. Why can't she develop / buy / steal-from-Geth a cloaking device?

Tali doesn't do well with the shotgun because the AI is generic.  She does a bit better with the Eviscerator, which doesn't have as steep a damage falloff, and like MadMapper says, tears it up with the geth shottie.

I read that LoTSB was a bit of a testbed for a "custom AI" on Liara's squaddie behavior, so maybe Tali will exhibit some more in-your-face combat behavior in ME3 that is more fitting for the shotgun, instead of popping out of cover halfway across the battlefield.  Hopefully combined with a drastically reduced cooldown and lower propensity to use Chikktikka.  Half the time I want to have her zap someone with Shield Drain, she's cooling down from sending out that bluidy ball of hard light.

And even though I love both Tali and Legion in terms of characters, if I'm doing an insanity playthrough, then I will pick Legion for techhy, just because he can use better guns. But when I was playing them through for story and lines, I would pick team dextro (and Thane too.)

I just find that shotguns aren't nearly effective as snipers. Especially seeming though on insanity, I like to keep my distance. But it's all down to personal preference.

Tali better then Legion for energy drain but worse do to shotgun.
Legion better then Tali for Widow but worse do to A.I. hacking( not bad, just most enemies are organics).

Legion can live longer to to Geth Shield while Tali can do it too by stealing enemy shields but it takes a while for cooldown.

Both have drones so it's a pure fun if you are Engineer.



So my suggestion is to use both of them.

As someone who usually plays as a biotic, that suits me! Mind you, I usually stick with variations of Garrus, Tali, Thane, Jack and Legion anyway.

Three combat drones is great fun. Where is that motivational...

Normally I use both Legion and Tali for missions, mainly due to their rivalry in dialogues. Though when I first played ME2 I took Garrus and Miranda for the first section, Tali and Thane for the second section and Tali and Legion for the last section(s).
In ME1 it was always Tali with Garrus.

Same here. Shotguns were better in them days. But the weapon restrictions sucked.

I love the shotguns in ME2, but admittedly they are not nearly as effective in squaddies hands. Still, Tali without her shotgun would be quite weird and the GPS is quite decent for squaddies too.

I turn on the saftey also. However, I do it out of good taste. Graphic depictions of Tali's vajay-jay just don't appeal to me. On more than one occasion I've actually placed my hand over really bad images to shield my eyes (Tali with a Vorcha =). 
Are the wimmen and guys over at the Garrus and Thane threads also not crazy about full blown, NSFW fanart of their fav characters?

Btw with "guns" I was referring to pistols / handguns, not shotguns

I'm ok for her using shotguns, but if she could use submachine guns as alternate weapon (like when enemies are far) it would be better (and wiser >.>)
