As for Normandy conversations, Mordin has the most, including cycling "I am busy" lines when Shepard has exhausted the conversations for the time being.

They certainly have in the DLC realm of things. Kasumi and Liara are very kind to Tali's image.
I'd like to hear more about the romance from Tali and Shepard's view, though. See it make progress through them and not some character who says it goes well.

That would be nice, but Shep's not so big on talking about his feelings. LOL. Guess we'd have to hear all about it in a glorious accent.Someone With Mass wrote...

I am quite fond of this, yes. Seems like - if fan reception is any indication - they did a quite good job on Liara in the LotSB DLC in general. I found her rather plain and uninteresting in ME1, so it's great that they improved the writing. And references to Shepard's romance, if done well, is always appreciated. I am hoping that Kasumi and LotSB is a sign of things to come.NuclearBuddha wrote...

But like you said, I don't know what they expected with Tali. But I think they treated her romance and character with love. That counts for something.

The LotSB DLC seemed to have allowed Shepard to be more expressive and further away from the "Action Hero" thing that was present in most of ME2.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Yeah, he kept the banter alive. I hope BW will expand on this in the future. It's a little boring when Shepard shows little to no emotional attachment to things.

It's a double edged sword, to be sure. In some cases it may take some ability away from the roleplayers who like to imagine Shepard's motivations in their head. But I prefer Shepard having more personality. I like Shepard as having faults and regrets.Someone With Mass wrote...

As long the dialogue is not written by the same clowns who made his creepy romance lines, it should be sweet and adorable.

My Shepard regrets that he was somehow unable to stop Ashley from romancing him. Though it was a moot point by the time the game ended. I still need to replay ME1.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Think about all the fun we've had with the "I have a shotgun." talk and the "I'm standing right here!" thing. C'mon, BW, people love that stuff!
I'd love to hear some banter between Shepard and Tali like he and Liara had in LotSB, just throwing things back and forth.
I see it!
*Bang*
There we go!

At the very least what Shep hopes for the future. In ME2, we only get to tell Grunt (and he doesn't care)!Collider wrote...
My hope is that Tali is more open with her feelings in ME3. I'd love for her to confide in him, tell him her secrets, stuff she'd never tell anyone else. And of course, her to ask how Shepard is. Would be an opportunity to roleplay, for sure.

Would be good if Shep still has to find things out on his own, though. Exploring the wonderful land of Tali.

This. I'm very glad I stuck with it as well.Someone With Mass wrote...
I've thought about replaying ME1, so I don't have Liara as a romance, but after hearing what she said about Tali, and see that she's taking it pretty well, I'm not so sure if I still should. Everything turned out better than I hoped.
Of all the things I imagined the "confrontation" being, this was not one of them. Though I gotta wonder if the promised consequences are done or if there's still something in store for ME3 waiting to blindside us.
At any rate, I don't regret going with Tali, and I had been prepared to feel really bad about it.

If you ended up with Tali after continuing the romance with Liara in LotSB, Liara's gonna be pissed.NuclearBuddha wrote...

It's understandable that after 2 years, the relationships more or less over. That would explain her not flipping her lid over Shepard cheating, but to renew the relationship and then cheat? Oh boy.

As would Tali vice versa. Both of them would have a right to be mad.Volrath937 wrote...

Good point, but really the only reason to do that is just to see what happens. It's kinda like getting Shep killed in ME2: an oddity of play of little worth that was actually accounted for.Volrath937 wrote...

Is there even an option to break things off with Liara in the DLC? I would hope there would be.NuclearBuddha wrote...
