One of the worst things I can think of is that one of the Admirals will go insane and that he or she must be killed along with their loyalists on the Migrant Fleet so that whoever survives determines the next course of action. If Gerrel survives, you fight the Geth etc. Thus gaining the Quarian loyalty. I think it will come down more to Shepard him-/herself (aka the player) then Tali actually making the hard decisions.

Yeh, not so nice to be killing fellow Quarians.

I think that it will be a case where you choose between gaining the loyalty of the quarians, or the geth. So perhaps the 'mission' for obtaining a species' loyalty will conflict with one another.

But it sounds like a really exciting idea anyway! I've always wanted to get to know the quarians more, as they are my favourite race. Looks like this loyalty structure will be how I get to know more about them, and Tali.

 It really comes as no surprise that Priestley's post was just Chris being, well, "Evil" Chris. It's in his job description. To him, ME3 and all the speculation is like Christmas come early. He *knows* the ME Fandom dwarves any other franchise (for BioWare) in terms of sheer psychopathic dedication; as such, he knows all he has to do to kick the beehive is to drop a post like, "Tali's not a Sqaudmate." *Cue Swarm*

For those of you who can be considered "Young Bloods" to the Forum community, this was a passtime he loved to engage in back in the original, pre-EA merger Forums concerning Mass Effect 2, and most specifically with Tali. I believe he once posted something akin to, "Of course she's not going to be a Romance. Come on folks, who would fall for a girl with Chicken Feet?" I'm paraphrasing, but that was it to a certain extent. And Holy Poop did the Tali-Love thread go monkey crazy. The simple fact is BioWare and the ME Team *know* how beloved Tali is, and that the game would *not* be the same without her being a intrigal part in damn near every capacity. If she's not present during the Trial (again, the game informer article could just be going off the default, non-import opening) nor available from the start, it's likely because she's back with the Fleet trying to prevent them (hopefully) from going to War with the Geth. I think we all know Shepard will need both the Quarians and the Geth (along with allies like the Rachni Queen) to fight the Reapers, and the only way to get 'em both is to broker peace. He'll need Tali for that. However, this is just speculation (hope) on my part.

 Getting back to the original topic: Chris is Evil and he Lies. And, what's worse, he's *very* good at it. Picture the classic Bond Villain, or better yet Cobra Commander, sitting in thier secret fortress/lair cackling manically. That's Chris in a nutshell.

Dude, it has already been confirmed that the guy who posted that information had photoshopped it. Nothing has still been confirmed about Tali in ME3.

It was a photoshopped image of his announcement of the forums going down on Tuesday.

I have good faith that Tali will be in ME3, given that 4 of the 5 confirmed playable characters are also LIs. Watch Sanders be a new one too. XD

Of course we did! Bioware wouldn't dare do such a thing. But I really hope Bioware can keep their secret plan for Tali until game is released, but that won't happen.

Oh, really? Well, that's good to know. Still, those of us who have been here since the first Tali Love thread know full well that Chris will, without question, set out to crush our hopes and dreams, his unnaturally long life sustained by our tears. So, even though that post was fake, it doesn't change the fact that Chris is still, well, Chris.

We can't deny trolling is super effective against us.

Garrus isn't just confirmed he's a playable character in ME3 sort of like what we got w/ Joker. I really want Tali in she's my LI and the only one who can make team dextro.

And on my couch      as fond of her as I am,  her combat engineer skills don't fit with being an Admiral. Someday, maybe, but I'm hoping she's as apolitical as I am.  If the quarian's really needed her, she would probably say yes, as long as Xen was scrubbing waste recycler's.

I dont think anyone is assuming anything like that. At least not now. Her potentially not being a squad mate is just something to discuss.

I kind of can Imagine and accept that we would recrut Tali somewhere later in the game like in ME2. Maybe rescueing her on her mission to warn Flottila about the Reapers, or save them form iminient destruction from the hands of Geth, or trying to apeace both sides of War - depending on the Players Quarian-Geth War choice. In general - I can imagine we can recruit Tali only after dealing with Quarian-Geth war issue and securing eighter sides help in fighting Reapers (or Both).

This would be well more dramatic than simply having Tali by our side from the start.
I'd love to have Tali as my squadmate, thought i'd like her to be involved in the story as much as possible, not just as action figure, but as a dramatic and important character. I can sacrifice few missions without her if we get to see some hartbreaking moments and epic plot entanglement involving Tali.

I cant see her skipping Shepherds Trial thought.She got to be there for Shepherd even if she is to depart right after that only to return in midgame.
