In fact, I'm a bit doubtful that the Geth will easily be allies. I dunno, I just can't stop thinking they could backstab Shepard. I mean, the Reapers have superadvanced technology, it wouldn't be surprising if they could "hack" some/all the Geth. Now I'm not a 100% story expert so I could say wrong things, but look at the virus Shepard used to rewrite the heretics...

Seriously though, if it comes down to it, I'd choose the quarians over the geth in an instant.  I see what you're saying about the virus- after all, all we know of the geth is what Legion's told us.  Then there's the issue of the ME2 trailer that showed him as an adversary rather than an ally...

Now I'm getting all paranoid and  looking over my shoulder at everything my Sheps have done going "craaaaap," lol...Ah well.  That's part of the experience, I suppose.

I'll lol something fierce if Tali becomes an admiral and STFUs the others into submission.  I don't have a doubt she can be a hardass when she needs to be.

I really hope there's a way to get all races to help out. I want to see Rachni fighting alongside Krogan, and I want to see the Quarian Flotilla syncing attacks with whatever ships/armada the Geth have to blow up some damn Reapers, lol.

Also, I want space fight cutscenes. Epic, epic, EPIC spacefight cutscenes.

And I want Tali by my side on the Normandy kicking ass through all of it

Geth would make pretty useful suicide units, just give them short range agile fighters with nukes inside them and watch the light show, of course, they'd never do that, would be overpowered.

Though the irony about Geth/Quarian relations is, if they did get in a fight together against reapers (or anything else) and have a Quarian ship that was damaged or needed some form of medical assistance, chances are the Geth would be more able to assist, as they probably have more data on board on how to deal with it, whether they would think that far ahead and actually have supplies is another thing, likely not useful to them unless they still retain some form of 'need' to help their creators stuck in their code somewhere.

Of course, this could work both ways as Quarians would probably be able to fix Geth should that need arise.

The other thing I'd like to see is if Geth ships have been changed to have optical viewing, as Legion clearly knows that a 'stealth' ship like the Normandy can get past their defences, if they have tried to upgrade such things at all, you'd hope so really.

My other interest is whether the remaining reaper loyal Geth will try to sabotage Quarian/Geth relations, or if they will have any active connection to the reapers, them being closer to get in contact with, or if the reapers will just consider them useless and not even bother using them as fodder.

Quite alot of interesting variables to deal with Geth/Quarians within ME3, we can only hope that they branch out the variables well enough, and complex enough to be a major part of the story, than a very small part like the few bits and bobs from ME1 to ME2.

I'm also interested on how badly relations would go should Tali have died in ME1 (since it is clearly possible), but I'm not sure that it will be even slightly intricate enough, too many variables to program into one game, and it depends whether Bioware get their full time to mess with ME3 and make it the best possible, or if they get nudged by their evil overmasters.

Tali's playing as a sniper in my next playthrough.

@Evil,   there are alot of variables to the geth/quarian conflict/resolution. Can't wait to see what they decide to give us, but I'm not going to even try to predict.

true... I am afraid they might do the Wrex leader card with Tali.

The ones I could see go without any complaint... jack, jacob, thane, kasumi, zaeed... maybe grunt. Not as in Go "dead" but helping you from afar.

but man wrex... and liara would love em to be back... although man liara is the shadow broker and wrex is the yet to be ... king/supreme warlord of all krogans.

Tali, Miranda, garrus, legion, grunt, mordin. I mean no... if grunt goes, wrex comes... that might be the only one sort is a give and take. the rest gota stay. (mordin not so sure)

either way, tali, garrus, Miri can't go anywhere... hell tali and garrrus are just the bro and sis... they been since the first they can't go anywhere.

Way I see it from a genetic standpoint they are the most biologically compatible for each other- at least aboard the Normandy. Hard to believe that during all those calibrations and engine cleanings neither saw "Fleet and Flotilla."

Of course Tali's mine in most playthroughs but the friendly jive Garrus gives Tali on the Citadel could be interpreted in more than one way...

I think you're stretching the concept of "reach and fexibility" just a little too far maybe..........

They really did shorthanded us in ME2 in terms of space combat. The way ME3 is setup pretty much ensures there will be plenty of cutscenes for us to punch thier fists in the air...

Or was that last part just me?

Of course since this is the Tali thread (and Pacifien would remind us), you're obviously talking about Tali's abilities to keep the engines at peak performance for combat......:innocent:

I want to be watching space fight cutscenes in ME3 and have equal portions of moments between Judd Nelson holding his fist up in triumph (Breakfast Club) and Joker's celebratory "How you like THAT you sons of ****es?!"

Also, it's great that Tali helped out the Normandy SR2 with those upgraded shields.
