Yes, you can have a house, but that was never mentioned in ME2.
A new house is the only option.

Actually it was the "Pinnacle Station" DLC, but as mentioned by others, it seems that that particular possible subplot was abandoned in ME2. (which is really kind of a shame, since my Shepard could use a little retirement home in the galaxy to share with Tali after the Reaper threat is all over  )

I am secretly hoping that they have not abandoned the Pinnacle Station concept, as mindless action is always well just there, inoffensive really.

I dunno. The whole "cheating" thing would hurt, I imagine. You risk your life to recover your lovers body, give that body to an organization you probably don't trust any farther than you could physically toss a boulder, find out they've come back, only to have them, in a sense, taken away again?

All in all, I'd say she handled the situation about as well as could be expected. Possibly even more so, heh.

wait when did Liara said that??? I got two guys who's love interest was Liara and cheated on her with Miranda and Tali, and Liara never had an outburst.......

I heard that you need to press Liara on discussing the relationship in the middle of all of the Shadow Broker business. So you need to choose specific dialog options for it.
