I heard that you need to press Liara on discussing the relationship in the middle of all of the Shadow Broker business. So you need to choose specific dialog options for it.

oh you need to press her on the subject??... damn. Too lazy to pass another playthrough to see that.
I'll keep it in mind then thanks.
Before you do that got to http://www.masseffectsaves.com/ and see if any of their saves matches what you were going to do then edit the name with the save-editor.Boomachucka wrote...
Man, I romanced Liara in the first game, then ended up joining the Talimancers over the course of the second. Now I'll have to play through the first game again to create a third save (first two are Liara/Liara, Liara/Tali) which is straight Tali through and through!

Smart idea! Though I feel like I'd be cheating her... Hmmm. We will see what my student schedule allows for before November comes around.
As much as I enjoyed DA2, it suffered heavily from being released way too early. It needed another year of development. I don't want ME3 to be released with a boatload of bugs.xlavaina wrote...
Yeah but the hope is that they don't rush it for that reason alone. I would be incredibly disappointed if Bioware didn't live up to the hype just because they wanted to make a release date. Thats silly, and stupid for the long run, as the fans they'll lose because of it would outweigh the potential financial compensation for releasing the game around a holiday.

When the rumor that ME3 had been delayed to 2012 was spread around I was happy about it. I still believe a November release date is too soon. Alas, I hope character development will not be one of the things shafted to cut time for an early release.
Note: I much prefer ME2 over ME1. I just don't think they can improve in such sort time.Spartas Husky wrote...

Honestly I dont mind it being delayed. With time and effort they came up with ME1 and Dragon age 1. ME 2 and DA2 are keen reminders of what happens when Bioware makes haste... specially DA2.
God I still think 3 games are too damn short for sheperd story...

Personally I think it needs delaying, I havent yet bought DA2 because I thought it was spat out a bit too fast, like most scheduled EA products (heck I know its satire but even Yhatzee mentioned that), as I once said before, I'd obviously not like it to turn into a Half Life style release and become a recluse for the next few years, but I'd rather they fine tuned the variables and made it a 40GB giant blob than something that feels unfinished, or has to be complemented by DLC to feel finished.
I just dont really want a half arsed epilogue, broken companions (due to death variables in ME2) or, well generally something that is dissatisfying as the end of a series, on the otherhand, at least it wasnt given to another company who literally destroyed the game entirely, or left it unfinished - as much as I have faith in Bioware and their products in general, the EA stamp has always worried me.
Then again, you show me an RPG that actually lasted as long as Icewind Dale/Baldurs Gate that was released in the last few years, because I sure as hell cant find any.
I just hope they add in the proper amount of voice acting and character development in such a short time scale.
Thats just my natural pessimistic charm though.
Your opinion. Not mine. I don't miss the inventory system at all and I prefer the streamlined rpg approach.Spartas Husky wrote...
blasphemy. I disagree right there.
Only improvement in ME2 was the fighting which felt a bit more fast paced.
Everything else I can think of was either left the same or downgraded... and in some instances completely abandoned.
A- Inventory. W/e people might think... rpg... "role playing" what part of role playing gets rid of different costumes...buying them, haggling, selling.
B- Heat sinks.... just call em clips.
C- exploration. ME2 is closer to Indigo prophecy than an actual RPG. RPG are associated with exploration... and standing 20 minutes (without mods) in a system carving out resources is not a idea for exploration.
PS: graphics improved not arguing that.
I compare ME2 and RE5... they got so far away from what trully make them great that they might as well be FPS rather than what originally they were.
PSS: actually at least this is the only bioware game in recent history that did not have near alike dungeons but just in different directions. (ME1, DA1&2) suffer from it.
