Quite an old one actually, I believe it's been posted here quite a few times.
Still awesome though :D

Can't deny the classics. Gotta say, that would explain the pounce pretty well- I've never thought of that comic that way but it definitely does explain a lot.

Anybody ever consider Tali might have an artistic side? Nothing in the game to suggest so but as I've said many times she's never in a "normal" mood in the games. I for one would like to see what musical instruments look like for the quarians.

She does note about liking the music in Flux in ME1 and how Quarians respect dancers alot in Chora's den. And she apparently watched a few movies according to her SB dossier.
That's about all the clues towards Tali's artsy side.

That's what got me wondering about that kind of stuff. Got me wondering though, what do musicians look like for them? Any instruments I know of either require using your breath which would be a challenge with those masks, or are extremely difficult to play with out using five fingers. If you play guitar, try and imagine playing with only your index and middle finger. Drums wouldn't be different but everything else would be interesting to see.

Well, that is assuming Quarian instruments aren't adapted to their specific physique. Anything the Quarians play would, I'm assuming, be naturally adapted toward their own physical make-up. Perhaps a bass guitar. Or even a violin or actual bass.

Though the only music we know for certain they perform is a capella. I would like more cultural information on Quarian...um...culture, in ME3. Though anything that expounds on Quarians in the slightest will be fully welcomed by my own person, hehe.

It would be hard to imagine there wouldn't be updated info in the codex entries in ME3 ( assuming they continue that aspect ). That's a pretty good assumption for their music instruments.

Even today we have electronic this and electronic that. In the future, a wood wind or brass instrument might just be old history. Everything can and has already been, synthesized via electronics and we know Tali can definitely handle a keyboard.

You know, I have yet to see a femshep version of the creepy-as-hell Sheploo pervy smile...

To quote Jacob; Look at thiiis:

I find this rather creepy too.

As for the pounced Shepard I belive he doesn't need to be rescued by the shifty looking space cow. If you date quarians you probably like it a bit rough.

You wanna see something REALLY creepy?

You're autorized to be scared. Another good reason for liking Tali: we can't see her rapeface xD

wow... miranda.... that is just nasty... weird lol. Jacob and Jack are close seconds with near retarded look lol

One that looks just normal is Thane.

LMAO All of them are scary! Only Tali doesn't have the rape face......

Side note: This is more than likely my last post on this site ever (for reasons I will not discuss). Please take me off your friends list if I am on it. Also, please due not respond to this part of my post, it's off topic.

The creepy femshep smile is during one of the romance dialogs with Garrus ;)

Or at least, a really weird looking one

I only remember the smile one that I posted..the one you get when he mentions "the quarters sparring match. I haven't played ME 2 in like a year so don't recall the details.

BTW, to what extent is Tali's placeholder face is animated? I think I've seen her blink a few times but I don't know if Bioware bothered giving Tali any sort of lip scyncing, expressions, ect.

Tali still manages to have better acting in her facial expressions than Babylon 5's Michael O'Hare ever did.

I can get my emotions across just with the position of my head and hands. I'm not saying Tali should go full on mime, as she does have a voice.
Besides most of the characters seemed almost stone-faced to me.

well... to be a bit ass on the subject. Most language transfer across species isn't auditory, is body language.

A high five to the voice actors and the animators who have to deal with this problem.

PS:... no a zoom in shot of miranda's ass is nothing related to this topic.

However tali's cute jump on surprise is a perfect example of how good animators have been at their jobs. Perfect of course not, but progress has been made.

I can really feel how at peace Tali would be at that exact moment in time. Good screenshot.Posted Image

Unless you're acting, you would be giving off a lot more signals subconsiously. But if people couldn't see those signals they would indeed be able to read your emotions from body language, which Tali is fluent in:

I think the best one here is Samara.

I'm gonna have to go with Zaeed.

I've seen her blink her eyes.

And the Jacob / EDI thing when she comes on board is literally the only time I thought she was ever in the wrong about anything, ever.  I get why she hates Cerberus.  Hell, I hate Cerberus.  But Jacob wasn't part of the attack on the Migrant Fleet.  He was trying to be polite initially and she was just being brutally ****y every second until he'd had enough and mentioned EDI.

It's literally the only time she ever did anything that I had some disagreement with.

Someone sometime ago wanted a military themed Mass Effect team dextro image, this is what I came up with.

EDIT: Fixed now, the original link wasn't working.

That was me, and damned nice job.  Pretty much exactly what I had envisioned:happy:

So cute... Shepard instead looks like a statue :D

@jamesp81

About Tali and JAcob: she doesn't know that Jacob isn't xenophobic / racist like the majority of Cerberus personnel. For all she know he could be polite because he must, or because it facilitates his purposes... like TIM did. He was all polite, cooperating with Shep, but he's a bastard that backstabs you in the end.
