That's the BEST sound bite, I can imagine all kinds of senario's for that one ( minds out of the gutter folks).

Shep: Tali, want to go for a ride in the Mako?

Tali: Um....why don't you take Garrus....Turian's don't mind scars.

Hey there, I'd just like to nip in here and point out an excellent fanfic that has Tali/Shepard in it, although it's really much deeper than a romance fling. The shell of heroism is a deep, dramatic retelling of the mass effect main story and is, in my opinion, the best telling of the tale ever. The fic is already finished and the sequel, The Spirit of Heroism, is just as good as the first installment.

Please, check it out; you won't be disappointed.

I endorse this. Read both and I must say, best fanfic I've read so far (And I've read many.)(Also, sorry Tasha.)

Really, Saphra? You endorse Project Overlord?

Please tell me that was meant as sarcasm.

''Really, Link? You think god exists?

Please tell me that was meant as sarcasm''
See how that works? You can say that about anything, literally, anything. Which doesn't exactly make it a good comment.
Just because you have an opinion  on a subject doesn't mean you have the right to ridicule those who have a differing one (Except if there's an almost universal-consensus that they're wrong).
And yes, I'm assuming I'm going to be banned for the god remark.

Also, I found it very interesting when I did my full playthrough how much Tali is mentioned in those reports. I think she might be the one who's mentioned the most actually.

To clarify, Saphra Deden, Xen isn't the one who developed the geth taming weapon she supposedly found on the Alarei, she simply plans to use it.

She recognizes the value of what Rael was doing and wants to complete it for him. The destruction of her childhood toys also indicates a high level of intelligence. Stephen Hawking tended to take apart his toys as well. Many creative kids do.

Maybe it's just the shadowing, but Tali's face looks very human like through her mask/visor.

How do you reckon Tali would react to guy whose personality is thus:

"Earlier in the story, he is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to even the most powerful of opponents, and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. He does mature as time goes by, but never really loses his attitude. He is seemingly unflappable, not showing fear whether he's being attacked by overwhelming odds. He rarely shows any seriousness. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback. He can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he makes cynical quips about it the entire time."

How do you think Tali would react is probably more important than my opinion, which is all I could offer. But it almost sounds like you're working on a fan-fic? I'm not sure I would want to change your thought if that were the case. So.... what do you think her reaction would be. ( and no, I'm not trying to be flippant )

I actually never read those little boxes before, haha! Tali stayed busy, that's for sure.

Last thing before I drop it:

@Nod: I just don't see how anyone could support something that practically, and almost constantly, traumatizes/tortures a person to take control of the Geth, especially when that person has, more than likely, a child-like mind. It's just wrong on so many levels. I'm not even talking about the mind-controlling Geth part.  That subject I won't ridicule anyone for.  Some people think the Geth should be destroyed, others controlled, and yet others want to try and ally with them.  I'm talking basic, fundamental treatment of another living person.

Anyway, Tali rules!

Hi, out of lurking for a while (until the alcohol lasts anyway). I think the geth will either turn around and bite you in ME3 or need to be respected as a sentient race. Whichever the outcome I think it is too late to be treating them as mechs and the opinions of those like Zen will result in death on both sides. I think Tali has the right idea, sit on the fence until the time is right, then pounce off and beat sense into whoever happens to be on the losing side. My paragon Shep will ultimatly favor the Geth indipendance but the return of Ranoch is a must.

Yes I am working on a fan-fic (did the Sig give it away?) Well essentially my hypothesis is that Tali (and practically everyone that he encounters on the Normandy) would be pretty put off by his attitude however eventually the true person that he is shines through and the taunting and everything just becomes his thing and they get on with it.

E.G Taking cover from a Krogan platoon

Guy: HEY KROGANS! I've shot better than you whilst drunk half blind at Afterlife! Go back to the firing range and tell me when your ready.

*ferocity of attack increases*

Tali: Was that absolutely neccessary?

Guy: Neccessary? No. Needed? Yes.

.....and I would love to read your version of that ! I asked a couple of author's whose work I enjoyed some of the same stuff before writing mine and their answer was....it's your story, tell it the way you see it. Write it for yourself and let the critics or praises fall where they may.  And.....we're off topic again.....sh*t.

I agree. Her stint on the original Normandy seemed to have helped her in more ways than one. I've always wondered why she's in charge of an entire squad on Hastrom and sort of leading one on Freedom's Progress. I understand she spent the past two years with the fleet but from my hypotheses of quarian society that's quite a feat. The fact that she led multiple successful recovery missions while helping Shepherd explains how she got those leadershp positions so quickly. Of course she might simply be a natural leader (behind Garrus, although I get the feeling he's got about a decade of experiance on Tali- that's a discussion for anoher page).

Maybe, maybe not. But I'm sure she has connections or agents that inform her of such things to further encourage her work with the character. Who knows. *Shrug*

I would be very proud and happy to know that a character I "voiceacted"(?) have a huge fanbase like Tali's.

Now I don't know if Ash Sroka doesn't give a s**t about that, or if she enjoys it. Her opinion about that would be nice :)

Hello people! I have a query about Tali during the period of Shepard's death. What was she doing to help fight the Reapers? Wrex was trying to unite the Krogan clans. Garrus had more or less lost all hope. The VS was being sent out on investigations and missions, presumably by Anderson and Liara recovered Shepard's body.
I didn't read any of the books or comics, so I wouldn't know but judging from ME2, she was rescuing Veetor and researching the cause of a star's rapid degeneration. Assignments from the Flotilla. Did those actions have any correlation to stopping the Reaper threat?

Well, quarians seems to be one of the few factions believing in the existence of the reapers. I guess that Tali contributed. Other than that we don't really know what she did in those 2 years.

I think the diversity of fanfics set within that time period supports the notion that there is no set story for what Tali did during those 2 years apart from complete her pilgrimage and join the Neema's crew.

About Tali in ME3. It's almost certain she will get a redesigned appearance. Therefore there will have to be some point early in ME3 where Tali goes the Migrant Fleet. This would need to happen to give her a new envirosuit without breaking plot continuity, as the Flotilla is the only place in the galaxy were the suits are made and can be safely fitted. Whatever the reason for Tali going to the Migrant Fleet in the first place, it'd need to happen during or before the prologue, because Bioware doesn't want our first look at Tali in ME3 to be her in the ME2 suit. I wouldn't be surprised if Tali isn't even on Earth during the initial Reaper invasion.
