I'm willing to bet that if they show her face it'll be with the mask off only, not the whole helmet and we'll never see whether or not quarians have hair.

Hmm, that's possible.
I feel like the asari have already filled the "space elf" role and that we don't need a repeat of them with the quarians.

Ah, nice to see you back goat. :D

I can easily buy the quarian race as having hair but not within their present day suits and helmets. That honestly makes no sense in any way or shape. At best, any hair would be either cybernetically maintained shorter than Jacks or completely missing.
Alas, though this would only make sense, I fear BW will again ignore what works and she'll have 8 feet of hair.

The gameinformer video would seem to lean towards shorter hair, if that is the route they are going to take.

I'm fairly certain the guy in that vid was trying to make a strangely worded connection between the change in appearance of her hood from ME1 to ME2 and the trend of women getting shorter haircuts as they age, not implying that quarians have hair.

I'm pretty sure it was talking directly about hair and it being shorter as she matured.
Also @goat I still have that quote from Sergio saved on a screenshot

I think this a pretty good high res image of tali. from what I can see she looks pretty good, also see some eyebrows. Quarians glowing eyes are neat so it makes me wonder if the homeworld doesnt get alot of light hence the tinted masks.

A texture mod is being used in that shot. Eyebrows were added.

Not trying to offend, but why do so many of Tali's fan pics involve her being an elf?

BECAUSE ELVES ARE PRETTY.

Also from what you can see of quarian's faces their features could, I guess be construed as somewhat elvish? They have thin faces and glowy eyes and stuff...

I agree with Collider, though. I think it would make more sense if they didn't have hair. Also quarian's lifestyle is not really like elves, that would be more like the asari. Quarians are more utlitarian ans less mystical.

Eh. I hope they arn't just elves in space. That is one trope I am extremely tired of.

Of course some of my favorite sci-fi like Crest of the Stars with the Abh, and Warhammer 40k with the Eldar use elves.

Or am I just venting my frustration with too many human looking aliens?

WE WILL NEVAR KNOW

Even if they did look like that though, I wouldn't count it as fitting in with the whole elf trope. As I said before, they simply do not fit the persona of generic elvery.

If they making them start being all mysically vague and superior or...living in forests then I would worry about that.

Hm, perhaps they could frolic through fields of junk?

Elves do frolic right?

You know, I actually wouldn't have a problem with that. It doesn't really fit her facial structure though, and her eyes are obviously different.

I'm not too sold on it, that looks a bit too...harsh I suppose. Daro'Xen on the other hand....

You know what, if they decide to show what Quarians look like I'll be happy as long as they don't look like the damn Navi.

Her face should be much more human-like, but other than that, why not? Ah, also, not little spikes on the shoulders... with dat tight suit they should be visible if they were there.

Ugly? That's not ugly. It's :alien:-beauty.

It would be pointless for Tali to look like a human. We already got one species of space babes already, enough is enough.

Seriously though, besides a few modifications that would have to be made to fit with what we have seen in game, I actually like the idea of the Quarians looking like that.

Allows one less "human" alien, and is not insulting to the eye. The Quarians voice would definitely carry that design through.
