Most dads don't express their love by testing hacking attempts on robots. Not like Rael is an ordinary dad, but still, I doubt he did it all just for Tali. I like to think that it was somewhere in between.

Another question for the board. Why did Rael do the experiments? Was it because of his wife dying? Was it because he doesn't know how to express his love for his daughter? Was it because he simply wants the homeworld back and leaned on the house-building claim? I find it hard to believe he would do that for his daughter when he didn't even take the sick-leave time to let Tali see his face without a helmet in the way.

The future.  I have this theory that he was probably more dialed-in to just how bleak things looked.  As an admiral, he'd have had a better understanding of just how long this Flotilla thing was going to last and what it was doing to everyone.  If you know you're in a bad situation, and it's probably going to get worse for your kids, you start looking for ways to change that, at almost any cost.

You're probably right. I'd probably do the same thing when you put it that way, but I'd also TAKE THE SICK LEAVE *cries*

Maybe this was the catalyst;

This is probably it. The Quarians(I believe) have the smallest population of all the intergalactic species, have poor relations with almost all the citadel races, poor relations with all the terminous races, their fleet is growing three centuries old (so essentially they are flying hunks of scrap), and their immune system leaves almost ANY dangerous task from construction to combat riskier than normal.

If the Quarians don't find somewhere to settle they are going to be in trouble.

Yep Rael experimented on the geth they've been in exile for 300 years and its all because of the war so naturally he's experimenting to try to get Rannoch back within his life time. He probably realized that 1 he's getting older and 2 the flotilla is too unstable to support life as it is and Tali said most people are so tired of living on ships they want the ground under their feet. Experimenting on geth in order to destroy them sense they're the number 1 and only problem barring their return to Rannoch is a viable and understandable solution.

Totally makes more sense now. A viral attack is the only way they can take back the HW quickly enough and with the fewest casualties besides the off-chance that they can establish peace with the geth. If only someone knew that the latter was more probable than anyone ever imagined......

Rear approach, check shoulder to prevent turning, hands to chin and base of skull, neck snap.

Alternate: Check and grab shoulder, arm around throat, grip jaw, single-arm neck-snap.

Or my personal favorite, the running leaping spinning neck-snap

EDIT* Mordin's melee is obviously a pitchfork.

Tali knows.

I'm mean how the geth are acting as caretakers of Rannoch and don't really use it's resources. I sprinted to engineering to see if I could tell Tali

Can't say as I blame him.  The only rear end more grabbable (imho) is Miranda's, and I find that she can be annoying on occasion.

I actually find it quite difficult to grab hold of two volus' hugging each other.

Lol.

But there's so much surface area to grab. I've likened Miranda's rear end to Kim Kardashian's rear end. And Kim Kardashian's rear end = me gusta mucho.

In fairness, I think there might actually be fewer drell.  But they're a Council race and are getting lots of money thrown at their problems by their patrons.  The quarians are on their own.

There are something like 600,000 drell on Khaje (or however you spell the hanar homeworld). There might be more on the actual drell homeworld, but they're living in a post-apocalyptic existence.
