Ironically, the geth plasma shotgun makes Tali incredibly powerful again. That thing is overpowered as hell.

In your well mannered opinion. It is about strategy and how you use squadmates. If you don't use them right, you won't get the expected results. Tali's energy drain is very useful and her combat drone is a godsend on upper difficulties.t3HPrO wrote...
I usually leave Tali to rot in Engineering. My preferred squadmates are Miranda and Legion, the 2 most useful squaddies ingame. Miranda's powers are ownage quality, while Legion has a Widow and the drone, while Tali only has a crap shotgun. It's a no-contest.

Again? The Eviscerator already made her pretty overpowered. Any squad ammo mod on that thing made her an outright war machine, especially with shield drain and her drone.
The Plasma Shotgun just made her overpowered with style.

Then with no disrespect meant, you are doing something wrong. In my playthroughs she dies less than I do. The enemies never make it close enough to do any real damage if behind appropriate cover. Her drone also stalls them enough to line up very clear shots.t3HPrO wrote...
Also, she dies ridiculously easy. On her loyalty mission (hardened playthrough), I threw her in a CORNER, behind the BEST cover available, and she STILL dies. However, me and Garrus, who were in not so solid cover, stayed alive and wiped out the geth. What the...
I'm confused, why is a non-sapient 50,000 credit chit shooting a mech near Tali?Kikaimegami wrote...

Miranda and (while I had him installed) Zaeed seemed to stand atop crates and boxes instead of hide behind them. For the most part Tali was competent enough to remain in cover when required.Volrath937 wrote...

Yeah Garrus has some sort of death-wish, I dunno what they did to his AI. Tali's usually good about cover, only rarely does she walk into a crossfire while I'm not looking.
I have the opposite problem. It's weapon-based. Sniper Garrus hangs back and shotgun Tali is all aggressive.Volrath937 wrote...

I was running Garrus/Zaeed on Jack's recruitment, Zaeed with the assault rifle and Garrus sniper. Garrus repeatedly decided that engaging in close range combat was the best tactical decision. Having to corral him every fight got on my nerves, save hacked Tali into the party in the end.NuclearBuddha wrote...

You hear that? That's the sound of me loading my Widow and taking aim at your head <_<Volrath937 wrote...

That shotgun is absolutely godly.Mozer121 wrote...
To be honest, my Tali probably got more kills than me with her Geth plasma shotgun on my insanity run. She's so good now that there's a shotgun with range.
Plus, you know, didn't want to upset Tali. There was so much potential for inter-party conflict there, and all we get in one line from Jacob before the 1 confrontation scene.Kikaimegami wrote...

Hey now, I needed the credits more than I needed a genocidal machine to anthropomorphize. Plus, you know, didn't want to upset Tali. There was so much potential for inter-party conflict there, and all we get in one line from Jacob before the 1 confrontation scene.

If you hadn't noticed, hair is alien in the Mass Effect universe. Humans [and if you really want to be technical, Batarians] are the only ones with them. Short hair curled up is no issue in a suit.SkyeHawk89 wrote...
Okay...this starting to annoy me with every character in Mass Effect that I been seeing around. Why not they have hair, I been seeing it on with Jack, Quarians and the Asari. Those races and characters look very great and well done without hair.

Indeed. Tali has sniped more people with her shotgun from Me1 than Garrus probably has in the last two years.mrsph wrote...

It was just the murder machine from Mass Effect making her triumphent return

Speaking of, I haven't had to give her a Widow in my games since getting the geth shotgun. She doesn't need it. She still likes to headshot everything, though. Tali has been taking lessons from the Sniper SquadRunescapeguy9 wrote...
