You identify yourself with people who lived nearly 250 years ago because you were born in the same area?

No the point im trying to make here is that like geth did, we broke off and formed our own community. When our superiors heard of this naturally they attacked (like the quarians did). So like the Geth we fought for our independence and struck some pretty harsh blows to our superiors (in this case the geth took rannoch etc.).  Our war eventually ended and we were given our independence.

Now like our friendship with the British eventually formed out of the ashes of our war, Legions splinter faction has the chance to do the same with the Quarians, with some help from shephard.

Riight, this points towards identifying yourself with previously mentioned people.

Edit: Mmm, beautiful. A post that will likely get me banned for off-topicness is top of the page.

That's something you can get if you hack your gamesave to make Tali part of the squad from the start.  It's Tali commenting to Mordin during his recruitment mission.

Okay then, my country's forefathers, but how is it off topic if im trying to show similarities between the two events?

I was discussing how you wrongly identified yourself with people who are long gone.
As much as Tali does that too, I consider itt off-topic.

Ah okay, well my apologies wasn't trying to be off topic, but like i was trying to say. The Geth (Legions faction more specifically) and Quarians will probably form a temporary alliance, that is with Shephards help for the war against the Reapers. After the war is done or during it im sure they'll develop a mutual understanding and that will lead to more peaceful relations.  Shephard's paragon has pulled off miracles before lol.

There has been a lot of foreshadowing of peace between the geth/quarians. So I think "Virmire decision" between those two may have something to do with how you handled Tali's trial.

Hand the evidence over: Forced to side with the quarians.

Tali exiled: depending on whether or not you pushed for peace or war I can see it going both ways. But with differing dialog from Tali.

Tali exonerated without handing evidence over: same as above.

Come to think of it, Legion's loyalty mission may also play a hand in whether or not you can go for peace.

I'm really hoping these variables you mentioned can be articulated in ME3 to achieve different outcomes. Not just black and white choices, but some grayed descisions. It's asking a lot.

Gotta agree, I can definitely see/hear Tali's voice with this face.

[/quote]

I would say... have all the face be scaly like those strips. Are all her face be pale. The mix of the two gives me the horrifying impression that she is hurt or severely injured..... Not sure why I find it pretty nice to imagine her whole skin be like the under skin near her eyes.... scaly. wonder why lol.

Still like the art specially the hair cut for her suit fits her. But not the combination of both skin... "types"

Maybe, but I sure have Posted Image.

And I can't see the quarians having scales, I usually imagine them with a more metallic 'skin.' But I really do like this representation. It looks alien, and I can see Tali looking like that with her personality and how she speaks. Also, I know people don't like to take it literally, but Grunt's remark at quarians not being 'squishy,' also hints at something tougher than humans, asari and salarians.

Just me who sees that as a slightly-emo-ish human representation of her with a metallic ear and a few patches of scales?

I kind of like this idea too (MaleShep are going to have a rough time). And if Thane can look good in scales I say Tali can too.

the perfect start for mass effect 3...<3 maybe bioware could really introduce in some in-game videos the presence of your actual girlfriend, the one you romanced...it would become a couple drama, really interesting =]

I wish I didn't have to mess around with the game files to recruit legion and Tali early. Legion has some awesome lines, but if you want to save your crew you only have time to do his loyalty mission, and nothing else.

Really limits his impact as a character, especially if you don't get to bring him along for Tali's recruitment/loyalty.

Interesting thing I found.
"Rejecting" Tali at the romance scene doesn't end the romance.
They're still together, they just haven't "been" together. If you talk to her after not doing the romance scene, you get the regular repeating romance dialog, and you can invite her to your cabin. I wonder if they set a flag for if you didn't do the romance scene, for import into ME3.

What would be the use of such a flag?

Who knows. They've already done something like this though. You don't get Thane's letter to Shepard in the LotSB Shadow Broker dossier for him if you did not do the romance scene. Could be a bug, though, I suppose.

Speaking of LotSB, its a shame we never get to see Tali's survivor guilt in character. That would have added a lot to her "arc."
