I think Tali is more suitable for conducting missions than sorting out diplomatic relations. She is badass, but speaks her mind too much to be an Admiral. I also think that a position like that is acquired through having experience and wisdom, something Tali won't have enough of until later on in life.

And I agree, Mesina would make a hillarible Admiral :P

True she does think with her head and not her gun lol, she can be good in a situation of brining peace between two people etc, but being a leader requires even more than that. Sacrifice (possibly leaving shephard) the whole nine yards. Besides we don't want her to leave shephard that badly do we? lol
*edit* woops sorry guys forgot i was top

It doesn't matter if she is a GOOD leader, what matters is that people WANT her to be a leader.

If my people wanted to put me as a leader, they would be screwed.

Same with me. Popular support is a ****.

Let's see; Tali, Mesina....Tali, Mesina.....what the hell kind of a choice is that? :innocent:

Speculation is well and good, but I like Calinstel's idea [Tali*  I'm here.  My vote is for peace.  Bye, gotta catch my ride.]

I think Bioware put enough hint's in the dialogue in ME2 to make her an Admiral, but it doesn't fit the Tali that I know, to be that Admiral. Maybe they'll let us decide? (mkay)...maybe not.

She's better on the squad either hacking, blasting or sending Chikktika as distraction. She gives good hugs as well!

A twenty-five year old woman? Made an admiral? Highly unlikely, given that such a position demands experience. It's not the same as making a child into a king/queen with someone guiding them as regent.

Tali will remain a combat engineer for ME3. Under Shepard or her Quarian superiors.

I highly doubt she'd be under him for long, Quarians have a tendancy to pounce.

Why? we've had younger generals.

I support Tali being an admiral in ME3. Her father was one and she obviously has some clout with the other admirals so they should have no problem accepting her, and she's one of the few squaddies with pull in other species governements (along with Wrex, and Liara as the SB. possibly samara and Mordin as well) and I'd like to use it.

Do you really think Tali is politically savvy enough to be an Admiral? See, i don't think it's so much an age thing as it is the desire to be a politician. I'm sure there are young 'people'/quarian's with that desire and training(?) to be the "Young Admiral", but Tali......nawww. The Admirals are qualified by age, experience, etc., but there has to be a desire to play the game of politics.   Tali would lose her cool, take out a shotgun...and ther ya' go!

I support Tali being a admiral in ME3.... and that's exactly the problem were going to get her out of! She may be forced in to the role, gets into a predicament reaper-style and here comes shepard! You save her once more, insert necessary witty comment on how many times you have saved her and she hops aboard the Normandy once more to pounce shepard save the galaxy

While I love Tali, I don't think she'll be made an Admiral in ME 3 cause of the variables with her like dying on the SM, or being exiled, or not exiled. I do think if she is alive in a play through even if exiled she will be a link to Shepard and the Quarian people.

I hope not. I'm tired of saving this girl. I've saved her three in two games!!!! She needs to be able to lead and NOT need my help to do so. I want to show up and she goes "Oh nevermind, I took care of it" I'll respect her a TON more if that happens.Posted Image

No I'm not, I'm just not into worshipping characters who are inferior to my own PC. And you wonder why people dislike Tali fans? Telling me to bow to Tali.Posted Image

Also she'd be good as an Admiral because she's not the only one and has a team to help her out. She does have experience working with reaper tech (Normandy SR-2) so she could lead the charge to add Reaper tech to the migrant fleet in the form of defenses so that the fleet won't be just cannon fodder.Posted Image

From the things I've seen in this thread (yeah I lurk before posting) it's an insatinty level of difficulty to tell what's serious or not.Posted Image
