There was a thread some time ago discussing the nature of Rannoch and it's sun based on what we know (from Legion mainly), I argued my opinion, and following it Quarians should have the "Tapetum Lucidum" it their eyes (or the Quarian equivalent, anyway)...
If this is true they should have an all round less sharp eyesight than humans in well lit areas, but should be capable of seeing better in the dark or crepuscularly lit areas...

Hmmm.. Would be a good explaination as to why Quarians have their visors tinted so dark.

Whipped? I don't know. I'm not really into that. Whips leave marks, and they hurt.
Maybe if she just... well I should probably stop there.
Tali doesn't really seem like the dominatrix type though.
