Hm, sounds like you're pretty spot on with the script thing then. 2 and 3 would've probably just been part of recording the dialogue for Mordin and Liara. And since it sounds like the meat of the romance voice work is missing, 1 was probably the point where they had Hale stop recording it.Collider wrote...

It's about the same amount that it's in the files for F/F Jack and F/F Miranda.

Actually they have Meer and Hale record EVERY line shepard could say and then cut stuff based on time and what makes it into teh final game and what goes unused. So there's some TalixFemshep stuff int here with Hale.Volrath937 wrote...

I know the homosexual/bisexual gamers lobby is quite strong here, and they too want their options, but I don't a character's sexuality to be retconned. If Tali was bisexual to begin with, then that is a different story altogether.

"Bioware didn't have Garrus and Tali as romanceable in ME1 so they should keep them that way in ME2"
the Tali and Garrus for romance lobby was strong and it wanted it options and the characters were retconned to be attracted to Shepard. Why can't another lobby get what it asks from a developer that obviously listens to it's fans request?

Nothing indicates she's straight in ME2.
None of the crew members come out and directly state "I'm straight", except for Jack if you read between the lines.
BioWare just took the relationship further for males, but in no where does it constitute for her being "straight" as there's no sexual preferences evident even if you make out with her. She could always potentially be bisexual, we don't know.
I highly suspect she will be in ME3, but who cares if you're already playing a male Shep, it WON'T affect you.

Tali showed no interest in aShepard of eiher Gender in Mass Effect, no matter how much oyu talked to her. Though, after Shepard has been dead for 2 years then is revived, she suddenly develops a MASSIVE (pun inteded) crush on the commander and all he stands for and does, despite how she was treated in the first game (has done PT's where i treated her like garbage in ME1 then romance her in ME2) but now it's unreasonable to ahve her do the same thing for a female shepard which is what the majority of psoters are saying here?that's wrong, but ME2's romance isn't?
is that better since it's only about Tali?

This. Keep past LIs as they are (interested only in their opposite sex sheps) and make brand new 3 LI's like Vegas for bi or go gay I don't really care.

Maybe Tali doesn't like girls? Maybe she's holding back her sexual desires for femShep until ME3? Maybe the homosexual fans and the heterosexual fans are NEVER going to back down from each other until we wait and see what actually happens in the game?ADLegend21 wrote...

Tali's LoTSB dossier proves other wise since she still dowloads the mating habits of humans on femshep as she does with male. I think it would be a big step for her character if she was to express feelings to female Shepard. I also do not buy that Hetero vs ****** fans, becaus eI'm heterosexual and I want S/S romances in ME3. That and Tali to admit that the Quarians were wrong in the mourning war, but I'll take it wone step at a time.Goat_Shepard wrote...

You seem to be ignoring what actually happened in ME2. The fact is that male Shepards can pursue a romance with Tali and FemSheps couldn't. Tali is a romanceable option for male Shepards only. There is no "if" or "but" about this. Tali is assumed to be straight, otherwise she would be romanceable by FemShep.
A character switching their sexuality off screen, changing from straight to bi between games, seems unsatisfactory, cheap and leaves fans who thought they knew their fav charactor feeling a little dejected.
I have no problems with new bi characters, but changing previously gender specific romances to be bi?
That, I have a problem with.

Well Capt, you seem to be ignoring what happened in ME1. The fact being that Tali was a waking Quarian codex entry and did nothing to spark even a friendship with Shepard of either gender, just talk about how evil teh geth were and how right her people were in attacking them, then getting driven off their homeworld by the very slaves they created. What you should see as cheap and leave fans feeling dejected is that she was turned into a damsel in distress, even after becoming an adult in the flotilla's eyes after 2 years and still needing someone to save her at every turn. Yet I see no outrage over the fact of her constant need of being saved by Commander Shepard, much less than her hero worship and school GIRL behavior despite being a gorwn woman. I hope that the devs will have her become an independent Character, someone who doesn't need saving like Miranda or Ashley who definitly won't be begging to be saved since they can handle themselves. what say you to all of this my Capt.?Capt_Flashheart wrote...
