Looks good. I think the AA pack was a pretty good compromise between armor & aesthetics/uniqueness.

It's a nice changeup, even if I usually roll with the original. I really like the plating.

advance. Hell, the Tali romance was spoiled before release. It's of course nice that we got the romance, but it may have been better if I hadn't known beforehand.

Indeed, luckily I disappeared before I knew for sure. There's huge difference between dev spoilers and spoilers on youtube 2 weeks prior to the game release.

Yeah, I think I'll mainly stick to Clan Zorah at that point. Hopefully try to avoid any 'big' spoilers.

...and keeping a large grain of salt nearby.

*Cough*

But, yeah, there's a lot of ambiguity, as Collider said. They are obviously not going to release all the information in one go, there will be teasing.

In this day and age it is pretty hard to avoid spoilers unless you completely cut-off internet access. I have a certain friend who is really good at spoiling anything and everything. I could just block him, but then he'd get butthurt.

Anyway, I like Tali's new outfit in the AA pack, but I don't think it was necessary. I would have rather seen Samara/Morinth get a new, more practical, armor.

I have a friend like that, he loves spoiling everything but doesn't like people spoiling things for him. Eye for an eye, biatch! You could try it :P

QFT. She's got armor, that's great...it's just not complete.

Question:

How would Tali react To being asked to fill her father's spot on the Admiralty board in ME3?

As someone else mentioned, Tali has already acknowledged that she has a few people throwing her name in for the vacant position on the admiralty board.

This could go in several different directions. Tali has always been very loyal to the migrant feelt, and taken her civil duties as member of Quarian society quite seriously. Depending on how much time the player spends talking to the admirals before and after Tali's hearing, she may have have a very good idea of the ambitions and motivations of the other admirals. For example, she obviously considers Admiral Xen to be something of a sociopath (the part about disecting her childhood toys) who has dangerous ideas about taking back control of the Geth.

Something else to consider, is the attitude your character conveys regarding the Quarians, the Geth, and the prospect of war. It's been said that saved game transfer into ME3 will bring over many more saved variables, and your choices in the first 2 game will have far reaching ramifications unlike the transion from 1 to 2. It's very possible that your actions and choices will decide whether or not Tali takes the Admiralty position, and even whether or not the Quarians go to war with the Geth, or seek a peaceful way to go home.

My biggest concern is with the ominous line about Tali having "unfinished business" with Commadnder Shepard in ME3. I'm not sure if I should be worried or excited...

Something about this was mentioned on the loading screen for Tali's loyalty mission (and is apparently the only time this is displayed), which might say something.

I haven't used the AA pack yet, but that I really like for a compromise.

It's a good suit, actually.  It appears that the chestplate is reinforced with more substantial armor.

I just haven't played in months, and just started another run, so I'll use it in game this time. It looks more armored and yet retains the classic lines. I like it.

But the firepower B)
Wouldn't want her to pounce on me in that monster though. I know Shep is tough but that thing is heavy metal. :D

Sooo... Tali pouncing on Shepard from orbit? Cool.
This time it's "EPIC fall" instead of "Epic fail".

Collsosus is great but I would like to see something original. :)

New armor types would be cool, but there goes alot of credits investing in good squad equipment lol.

indeed. I'm thinking she gets some new armor from the flotilla since they could be militarized in ME3. something akin to Miranda's light armor in the AA pack.

Well, I would keep the system of items and upgrades from ME2. Only with more variety.
Upgrade system for weapons could be implemented for companion armor as well, something similar to Shepard's armor system in ME2 perhaps or complete armor sets but more types than in ME2.
Definitely don't want the inventory back though. Too much time wasted there in ME1 <_<

Yeah, some light plating, not just the suit, too vulnerable.
