Question:
How would Tali react To being asked to fill her father's spot on the Admiralty board in ME3?
As someone else mentioned, Tali has already acknowledged that she has a few people throwing her name in for the vacant position on the admiralty board.
This could go in several different directions. Tali has always been very loyal to the migrant feelt, and taken her civil duties as member of Quarian society quite seriously. Depending on how much time the player spends talking to the admirals before and after Tali's hearing, she may have have a very good idea of the ambitions and motivations of the other admirals. For example, she obviously considers Admiral Xen to be something of a sociopath (the part about disecting her childhood toys) who has dangerous ideas about taking back control of the Geth.
Something else to consider, is the attitude your character conveys regarding the Quarians, the Geth, and the prospect of war. It's been said that saved game transfer into ME3 will bring over many more saved variables, and your choices in the first 2 game will have far reaching ramifications unlike the transion from 1 to 2. It's very possible that your actions and choices will decide whether or not Tali takes the Admiralty position, and even whether or not the Quarians go to war with the Geth, or seek a peaceful way to go home.
My biggest concern is with the ominous line about Tali having "unfinished business" with Commadnder Shepard in ME3. I'm not sure if I should be worried or excited...
