Nice picture. Never been a fan of elves in Mass Effect, but still a nicely detailed picture nevertheless.poke4eva wrote...
Tali's awesome. can't wait to play me3

I wasn't either. Seeing all those people say that squad mates wouldn't return for sure was a bit grating, though.Someone With Mass wrote...
I was never that worried.
I could see it for Kaidan, but not really Ashley.I was also far too busy being up in arms over the fact that the VS became a Spectre out of nowhere.

Or they could, I don't know, not break the canon sexuality of old characters and just introduce a new bi character, which absolutely no one is opposed to.
On an unrelated note, Casey has again confirmed Tali as a full squadmate and main character in ME3
In a forum community where the norm is "the sky is falling, here's my theory why and I'm right".......not surprised at all.Collider wrote...
So, how surprised was everyone over the announcement over squad mates from ME1 and ME2 returning as full squad amates? Oh dear lord, I remember all of the arguments people made believing that that in ME3 none of the ME1 and/or ME2 squad mates were return, except for cameos...hehe.
What's there to be up in arms about? They're both outstanding soldiers and they both helped take down Saren and kept working beyond that. I'm interested to see hwo Bioware filled the time between shepards death and revival, probably with badass missions that they completed on their own with lots of explosions.Someone With Mass wrote...
I was never that worried. I'd have accepted Tali as a temporary squadmate if they made that decision.

That would be really tacky.
If they do what they should d anyway (which is to make the romance triggers in generalobvious), then there will be far less worry about your Shepard flirting with someone you don't want him/her to.

Has Bioware confirmed this? The only source I've seen this from is one of the gaming magazines that is considered unreliable, and has been wrong on ME3 stuff before, apparently.
Though I can see either one being considered for the position, I've yet to hear from a credible source that it's true.

Ah, not that you couldn't choose his orientation, but that I think it's better if you just define it in-game using dialog options. Why? It's a role playing game. We choose Shepard's appearance, name, his skills, his background, his personality, but we shouldn't choose his sexual orientation? Given that romance is a part of the game it would make sense to choose this as well.

I still have a little sh***y voice in my head that wispers that she could be squadmate only at the beginning of the game, or things like that...

Come on, now. Was there ever any real doubt she was going to be on the team? I mean, with her gone, who would nurture and take care of the Normandy's engines?Alienmorph wrote...

I'm not surprise at all that Tali and Garrus are back. It's any of the ME2 squad being full time squaddies that will (pleasantly) surprise me.
ME3 will really be Tali's place to shine. I don't think she really warranted being in ME2. It was a waste of her as a character.
Guest_Arcian_*
Yyyyeeeah, I wouldn't go this far. Her character development was mostly detrimental (not unbelievable, just detrimental) to her character, at least to those of us who loved the perky Kaylee-expy she was in ME1. Her missions were way too melodramatic and tried to pluck way too many heartstrings, and they could really have kept her personality in line in the romance to make her seem less of a shrinking moe violet with a stalker's crush.Someone With Mass wrote...
If anything, I think ME2 added a lot to Tali's character.
It was her LotSB.

And ME1 wasn't a waste of her character as well, besides the obvious plot device?
