No matter of which sex is the commander... Shepard+Tali always means extreme cuteness. Alwaays.

I can't see that Twitter picture but I can guess....

Anywho, I was just wondering, what are people's opinions of Fan-Fics which put forward the idea of Tali living outside the suit/ having kids with Shep, due to some medical/genetic genius of Mordin or something similar.

I've seen a pair of fanfics where Mordin managed to boost her immune system permanently, but without making her fully free of the suit. If done well it works, but only in fanfics, doing it ingame would feel a bit too much cheap for me.And also... ToP!

Hi, I'm like... another Tali fan <:D
Nice to meet you all /bows

SO talking about Tali, and talking about her towards ME3, here's one thing I'm sure DOZENS of people have already discussed, and talked about; I would love to see Tali much more prepared in the next game, much more let's call it "pro", Tali is by far, when it comes down to "experience" the most young asset on Shepard's team,

*massive text snip*

, making her lethal in combat, much more efficient, she knows her place now, and she's not going to be easy to take down, Mr Reapers.
/insert ME1 theme here

Welcome to Tali's place 'alx', sorry about the massive text snip, but I highlighted the part I needed. I've been do another play thru and I'm more convinced now that is fresh.....

If a player equips Tali with the best eguipment, upgrades and armor in ME1, she is a "combat bear" !! I just let her and Wrex loose on the Rachni and Benezia's  asari commandos and I was starting to feel bad for the other side. If she can stand toe to toe with a Krogan and hold up her end, I'm not sure if she can be more Pro.

I am hoping they give her and the rest of the squad the combat abilities in ME3 that they had in ME1. I do hope like you to see her mature even more, but I'm pretty happy with her now.

In ME1 she was just... how could I say it, UNSTOPPABLE, once I reached a certain level, and gave her the spectre weapons and some good upgrades... she just didn't stop XD I almost had to CHASE her in order to be able to kill something MYSELF, because she'd always go ahead xD AND I was with Wrex and Tali all the damn game!! If it were Wrex then I'd understand, but she seemed EAGER to engage in a fight XD Oh Tali, you and your random Krogan blood.    <3
But seriously now, I guess I was focusing my suggestion thingie more towards ME2, although, I never changed her from my squad since I recruited her, and even if I were going to face non synthetics I'd carry her around, she was quite less effective when it came down to other than synthetics, I had to use the team management way more often, and she fainted more than once, and I only have played in veteran, we'll see how things go in insanity. Besides it kind of bothere me, when I checked a guide to the suicidal mission that she was listed, like Mordin one of the weakest D: I mean Mordin is a Salarian I'll give you that, but also a STG! I think due to his experience he could handle himself better :1 And Tali, already has quite the experience as well <n>

And don't take me wrong, I'm more than happy with her now, but I want to see for the sake of roleplaying and character development, how she's matured from these experiences :3

Do you think so? :0
I think it would make sense actually, since Mordin already gives Shep a nice advise (which I found both, cute and nice from him) when he notices his relation with Tali, I wouldn't think that Tali going to Mordin asking him to improve her inmune system, if not for ever, much more "permanently", and I don't see Mordin refusing, since he's always eager to study new things <:
Obviously, this said like that well, looks really cheap indeed, but if the developers did a nice story behind it, I think it'd work. Maybe do some quests in order to find rare plants or animals with enhanced inmune systems, and stuff like that, to get Shepard involved somehow.
Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me ^^

Also... here's my first share, I bet ot has already been posted but still:

It's from deviantArt, an artist called Melasfatum check out his work, because he does quite a lot ME2 pieces, here's the original link: http://melasfatum.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2kp9o3

I knew what you meant. It's just so often I hear that Tali is thought to be weak and she was definitely 'weakened' in ME2, although that didn't stop me from using her all the time. It sounds like the dev's are going to put the combat, weapon and equipment choices "back" in ME3, so it's all good. Anyway...

I would surrender to this...

Team dextro are the special tasks groups. They just fooled the salarians to think that they controlled it :P

Agreed, she definately was a monster in ME1, in ME2 not so much (although Chikkitika was really useful), still... carried her around everywhere lol
And... <u< I would surrender too

When I first played ME 1, I used Tali out of necessity. She was the only one with a good enough electronics skill to allow me to hack safes, lockers, and what not. Then of course there were all those crazy abilities she had. Finally, after some time, I had weapons good enough for her to use the AR and still be effective. The point of my ramblings is that although I took her everywhere because I needed to at first, I began to love her personality, and everything else about her. Did anyone else have a situation like that?

I'm afraid I did it backwards. My intro to the Mass Effect universe was ME2. By the time I got through the first playthrough of that, with Tali as my LI, I said wait a minute.......what the hell did I miss in the first game? So I went And did my first ME1 playthrough and more or less learned about her background, history and capabilities. When I imported that first Shepard it made a lot more sense.

Oh man, thank god you did play ME1, because you do fall in love with her in the first one, like Norad2 said. I personally felt it was addequate that you couldn't romance her in the first one, and to me, that I just wasn't interested in neither Liara and Ash, the "waiting" for her was even more meaningful :3

Can't wait to see the following interactions with her in ME3, and given that Bioware seem to like Tali as well as the fans, I have high hopes. (hopefully they won't be crushed... XD;;)

I was never part of the online community until recently, so when I walked into ME 2, I had no idea that Tali was now a romance option. I was content to have her chatty, loyal self back in my squad. You can imagine my surprise when I found out she might want to be more than just friends.

I cared more about her then either of the potential Love Interests in ME 1, but I was perfectly happy with the way she was. I was like "Hey, Tali! *high five* Long time no see!"

That made me D'awwwww

Garrus romance is also very lovely, especially when he kind of breaks down in Shepard's room.

Also to Norad2, ... SAME xD Although since I'm new I've been trying to think all what I want to post before posting. Still I  think I've already done it twice lol!

STG stands for Special Tasks Group. It's a Salarian espionage group run by their government.

Edit: Tali and Garrus fan art for the sake of keeping on topic.

BTW, I recently took Tali and Garrus on Overlord. With Tali's fully maxed Energy Drain and Garrus's Heavy Overload and squad disruptor ammo on Tali's GPS and Garrus's Incisor, the whole thing is a cake walk! There aren't many Geth I've seen that can take 2 enery drains (I used it as my bonus power) and a Garrus Heavy Overload all at once.

Special Task Group, is the Salarians special military group for recon, stealth, and all kind of cool things missions xD
As Mordin said, is like the Salarian version of the Spectres
