I meant acknowledges when you're actually with your team on your mission and they talk among themselves, and when you click on them, you can interact. Not 1-2 lines that Liara/Kasumi says. That's way too little.

Ah yes, true. That would be nice to have in ME3.
Though, I prefer that banter be like KOTOR's banter. In little cutscenes. It always felt awkward in DA:O and DA2 to randomly stop the warden/hawke from moving because you want to hear the banter.

Just curious - for you guys, what would be Tali's greatest flaw?

For some, it would probably be her hatred for Geth. For me, I don't have much to complain about.

She has barely any flaw to my eyes, true that her extreme point of view against Geth is a bit "ugly", but then again, she works with one at her side, AND listens to reason, and even helps Legion with data that's not classified. Meaning she's understanding, and willing to listen to reason.

But I think her only "major" flaw would be a phisical one, her weak inmune system, makes her very vulnerable. But she compensates it being quite a badass in action hehe

That she's a Quarian and so has reverse protein structure.

How are Tali's views on the geth "extreme" anyway?

Hmm I'd find her as being the kind of person who might let Shephard's feelings cloud her judgment when its time for big decision making, but then again that happens to the best of us. She's hard for me to figure out, she seems nervous with alot of things, but can also take charge when she needs to.

Wanting to wipe them out because they won't be slaves?

She never says anything like that.
And it's pretty clear that she doesn't want the geth to be the quarian's slaves. In ME1 she said the geth were a mistake to make in the first place, and she disagrees completely with Xen's suggestion of reenslaving the geth.

Not exactly like that, no.
Don't forget, she said it was a mistake for creating them, not for trying to commit genocide.
She's also saying that postmortem.  If she had been born on the homeworld, and the geth had never rebelled, maybe she wouldn't mind.

@SilentNukee

Ah, SS mance supporters.  Disloyal to the end, eh?

New from DA.

I absolutely love this one. Alien, yet gorgeous at the same time. Maybe a little similar to Asari if you look at it the right way. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I'm loving the hair-like tendrils.

The geth rebelled because they became sentient and the quarians panicked and tried to shut them down.  If they'd never rebelled, I'd have to assume they never became sentient.  In which case we're not talking about slaves.  We're talking about toasters, forklifts and vacuum cleaners.

I thought Quarian ears were supposed to be like like feathered gills or something.

I thought Quarian ears were supposed to be like like feathered gills or something.

All we know is that they were described as "what passes for the quarian ear." That implies that they're different than human ears, not terribly much else.

The only thing I dislike is the purple hair. Other than that, I think she's cute.^_^

I like the picture. So far as potentially being the quarian face, I'd prefer some more variation on the front of their face. It's basically just purple human face in that picture (which we already have with the asari, just blue).

I keep wanting to buy the ME books but I'm not as excited for them as I was the DA ones. I just don't know which one has the Quarian interactions in it.

Ascension has the quarians in it. People say that it's best Mass Effect book. Although many would also say that that is not saying much. The Mass Effect books seem to be fairly standard for video game-based books. Okay if you want more lore information, but look elsewhere if you just want a good read.

Yeah, I don't want a mediocre read. I guess I'll see about gettin' a used copy offa amazon or something. I do want more Quarian info. Thanks Colli'Der vas BSN.

I'm reading ascension and I can tell you that for now it's a really good book :) But there are not so much more info about quarians...even if one of the characters is a quarian. Anyway i suggest you to buy it ;)

Keep reading Alex, it's there :bandit:

@Mozer_re: Tali pic. I'd love to here the dev discussions about the Tali concept art put out by fans. Some fan art is very good including this one.

As far as the geth=toaster=sentinent=rogue AI, it's kind of moot at this point. Like I've said before, the genie is out of the bottle, has found independence and learning to be worth defending. Why not make use of them in as allies instead of enemies. You know, the old 'enemy of my enemy' thing.
