Hmm, I'll watch that now. I youtube'd "Assuming Direct Control" for teh lulz, and I ended up listening to Harbinger's dialogue, and this popped up:

"Quarian; Considered due to cybernetic augmentation; Weakened immune system too debilitating."

Cybernetic augmentation... What? I thought they mainly only upgraded their immune systems, and if that was the case, it would make the statement redundant...

They use cybernetics to improve their health, but even in doing so their immune system is still weaker than other races.

I think the augmentation includes improving the immune system, or implants that allows for better control over their environmental suits.

Harbinger's quotes are pretty much just there to intimidate Shepard and for the whole human master race thing going in throughout the series and especially ME2.

Yes and it was either Wrex or Garrus for a couple of play thru's, until I realized I needed to find out what the other squaddies brought to the table. And.....

Right now my favourite Mass Effect fan video on youtube is the one by DeadCheshir with Tali, Garrus and Legion dancing in a club. The work he put into Garrus' animations speaks for itself. As for Tali, well, see for yourself.

well.. when i created this pic i was guided only on my own imagination and from what i know form mass effect 1 and 2 games, i never read any of the books but i do intend to, so this is just my own vision XD however if you guys and girls have some more info about quarians i would love to hear it and try to recreate it to look more.. quarian^^;

I used to hold vespaz's version as what I thought was the "true Tali," but I think yours has just replaced it. Don't get me wrong, vespaz's Tali is breathtaking, but what you've done here really captures both her personality and her alien attributes. Amazing job.

It sounds to me something like the reapers considered the quarians a good race to be abducted and "reaperized" thanks to their cybernetic augmentation, but were dismissed because of their weak immune system.

Probably I'm wrong, but that's my impression :3

I thought so too. That, and/or the augmentations making quarians more adept in other areas.

I'd like to see Tali (and/or Kaidan) in a CGI trailer.

Quite honestly, I am just happy that they included her as an active squaddie at all. It would have been easy enough to ignore our nerdrage and put her on the migrant fleet as an admiral. I just hope that we get an epic ending to the romance, my Shepard wants to settle down after this all is over.

Maybe. But realistically, you just found out about the Alarei, are you really going to waste time talking to politicians when Tali's father could still be alive? I know Tali gives you the go-ahead for talking with the admirals, but it seems very strange to be talking about Tali being put in a bubble, Veetor and Reegar's well-being, etc, when you're in a state of emergency. This playthrough I actually talked to just Shala about Tali being born (didn't know if I could get that convo after the trial), then sprinted to the shuttle-bay.

The options if you talk to the admirals are spectacular, but I can't resist the "even if it's too quiet for her to sleep well". It's just so personal, it makes a connection between now and the good times of ME1.

For fun I chose the renegade option and aside from the first line I was pretty satisfied.






Lookit that renegade pacing the courtroom all informally. It's like he dun even care!





Oh and I can't forget this.

In all my playthroughs of ME2 (And there are A LOT of them), I've never seen Legion do the robot dance.  He just stands there and looks around.  I've heard in a number of places that if you watch him for long enough, he does the robot.
