And it's true what you are saying guys. I'm sure that non-constructive criticism is ignored, and that Bioware knows you can't please everyone. Someone made a really good point yesterday that Tali-Haters have had tons of opportunities to remove her from their game if they wanted too, so that if they really don't want her around, they don't have to deal with it. But personally I feel that the Quarians are the most interesting species (the only ones that feel truly "alien" besides maybe the Krogan). They also have a plight that, even though they brought on themselves, you can feel for them. The Krogans kind of got screwed because they were really blood thirsty so its hard to feel bad for em.

I didn't play ME1, so I don't know about Liara or Ash. All I know is that out of the romances offered to me, Tali was the most interesting character. It's like a high school crush. Who else am I going to choose? Miranda - the person who hates you on principle and has the attitude of a constipated disabled war veteran? Jack - shes just got way too much baggage. Or the cute innocent girl who is completely dedicated to you. I choose the cute girl. Love is better then lust any day of the week.

Yep. When it comes down to it, and I don't mean the characters or fans any harm with this, I find myself drawn much more to the one who's completely covered and within proportion, rather than Nipple-Strap or Moon-Ass.

Seriously though, watch out, it would be sad if you ended up infracted...

@Bearcut: I agree with your statement, there have been countless options for one to kill off character he doesn't like, and that's another reason for me not to understand all the hate that floats around.
And by the way, your first top of page! Congratulations! There's some sort of unwritten rule here that says that (if you want of course), you can post a Tali pic in your Top of Page...

I know that earlier I said "all" of the Tali hate was coming from the unregistered section. Poor choice of words. There's still plenty of Tali hate posts in the registered forums. Try writing down the names of each individual hater; No worries, a sticky note is big enough. Same handful of people in every Tali thread (Seeker's on a roll).

I don't know if you'd call what I said on the offensive... I was giggling the whole time I wrote my posts, though I suppose my trollish mentality was just hoping for a reaction (= more giggles).

But honestly? Humans are inherently selfish. Of course they would save their lover for the lives of many. (Unless they actually have some semblence of altruism.) I know my mainshep would keep Garrus with her. She wouldn't mind sailing with him on the Normandy loveboat in an empty galaxy.

Ok, but her bff Tali would have to be there with her too.

And YES. The cain is spectacular, as is Tali. It's like a wondrous collision of spectacularness!

Let me answer this for him. Take the number of Batarians currently alive, and add one. That's how many Batarians we'd sacrifice Tali for.

Honestly, if it was either lose Tali or lose every person in the galaxy except Tali and Shepard, I'd go with option #2. Very sadly, though. It's a good thing Shep can just kick everyone's ass in ME3 and save the day.... Right?



PS: Since when did they change the confirmed new character's name from James Vega to James Sanders? Just noticed it...
