Oh well, heres to hoping its your main LI that comes to pick you up from Earth. I know it wont be Ashley anyway thats for sure lol.

Still didnt think they made as good as an impression with the trailers as they did for ME2 though. Maybe its down to the latest gaming craze being "giant things" all of a sudden, or it damn well seems to be. Granted though I didnt expect reapers to come in minature.

I don't know, it sort of makes sense for your enemy to expose more specialized variety in a full out war.

Also I refuse to be doom and gloom over the tease that E3 is, so Tali is going to dance ( courtesy of Gust4v )

Heh, though I was thinking to myself "Not the reapers, they're GOING IN MY EYES.. ARRRGH".

Not vastly sure if we'd ever see Quarian based husks though unless they were mixed with other races quite drastically, since afterall they have been pretty much stated as unusable...

The other issue being their footsoldiers are generally indoctrinations and husks, might rule out the possibility of cute little minature reapers with death beams, pew pew.

Yes, she's confirmed. Every ME1 squadmate has been confirmed and been seen in video, except Wrex; He's temporary, and you even get to hear him! There's GOT to be a Talictical Nuke on the way.





Edit: She was also the last confirmed squadmate, wasn't she? Maybe Bioware has been planning a mass troll ever since her popularity explosion after ME2.

Tali was not in any videos at E3. She has been confirmed by Casey Hudson to be a main squad mate, however.

As to whether Shepard's LI will show up to save Shepard...I doubt it.
I believe there are indications that most of Shepard's squad has split up (again...) by the time he's saved.
I also think it's important that the VS is there to save Shepard, anyway. That holds a special significance, especially after Horizon.

My guess, Tali will get a reveal much later when they feel comfortable with presenting her. A sneaking suspicion tells me she will have a clear face behind that visor. It's WAY too soon for that reveal and that would ruin the anticipation for, probably, most of us.

Thanks for reposting that dancing Tali gif Jacob. I was looking all over the place for that one.
I'm also glad you've finally joined Clan Zorah. That place is great when you want to get away from the trolls or just talk about random stuff.

Anyway, I agree with pretty much everyone on this thread right now. We really need something, anything that gives us some info on Tali at E3.

This reminds me of something I want to touch upon.

The scariest thing about what occured at E3 is not that Tali was not seen. It was Ashley's outfit.
She went from full (albeit pink) armor to catsuit with high heels (sound familiar, anyone?) and long hair covering half of her face. Sounds like the antithesis of Ashley. In fact if Ashley Williams of ME1/ME2 saw this person, she'd probably have a few jabs to throw about her choice of combat outfit and hair style.

Thus I am apprehensive about what they are going to do with Tali. A clear face mask as suggested would be very OOC. She obviously considers showing her face to anyone to be an immense symbol of trust, and having a clear face mask for everyone to see is of course not conducive to that.

Sorry, forgot a part to that. What I meant to say is something like "Everyone from ME1 is confirmed except for Wrex, who is temporary. Everyone besides Tali and Wrex have been in videos (except Kaidan, who's in some screenshots). Wrex even speaks several lines in a demo. But Tali isn't seen/heard/mentioned, EVAR."

Clear face...? In a PREVIEW?... That's too much. Saying whether we see her face or not is even too much of a spoiler for me; Let me find that out on my own.

I was kind of hoping we weren't going to talk about the big pink elephant in the middle of the living room, but it occured to me as well. So I'm going to watch the dancing gif and ignore the elephant....

No, no, no, I wouldn't dream of them doing anything about her at E3. That's what I mean, it's too soon for any of that. As for the face, I'm just spit-balling around on it. My initial impression left me wondering; "Why don't they have any visual confirmation for Tali, a little bit odd to have her and Vega as the only squaddies not seen so far, no?"

But I'm also a little bit of a pessimist so, again just a thought.

E3 is just a tease...a taste as it were. They're PR people are sitting at a bar somewhere congratulating (sp?) themselves over a beer. Casey's smiling and the boards are all lit up. If you're Bioware, you're a happy camper.

I think she probably will, because Liara's outfit was fine. Although, Liara does seem to have put on extra make-up. Got to look pretty for the end of the world.

I think Tali's face should be reserved for the climatic love scene (...Or scenes? C'mon, one go in a few weeks is a little slim pickings). Anyone else with me on that?




Edit: Although, if Tali's face wasn't shown, I might just be more relieved than dissapointed. Although I expect Bioware WILL show her face. Just hope I don't have to close my eyes, stuff my fingers in my ears, sing "La la la la la la..." and pretend Bioware didn't commit the biggest lie ever
