This. I've never heard all of Samara or Jack's dialogues because of that reason. And to make light physical contact, like a friendly hug would be appriciated.

I think that does make sense. That fits with the VIs of their ancestors that they used to have, and the fact that things such as data would be very compact. One could simply store them on an omnitool. Space is limited on the Flotilla.

It's certainly something to think about.

I also wouldn't pick the celibate option. I just think that some romances could actually make sense with one. Saving sex for later I mean. Tali's is one. Jack is certainly one. Sex with Jack is flat out creepy.

The main issue wasn't that Tali getting sick could hurt or kill her, it was that it could slow down Shepard, distract him from the mission. That was her real concern.

Him stating he doesn't want anyone else, and that he's willing to do whatever it takes to make it work, wait, research, whatever, means that they can now work together to figure out how to make it work, hence why the conversation turns to sex.

Jack's paragon romance scene maybe, but the rest of the romance...oh god, that was not beautiful. In fact it made Shepard seem like an ugly person.

Well, he doesn't exactly say that he doesn't care about the physicall contact. More like that he will do whatever it takes.

I don't think she is emotionally ready for sex yet, even paragon sex.  You don't realistically fix somebody that screwed up in like four conversations.  Jack is practically a child.  I wish there was some kind of "stay here with me tonight Jack.  I'm here for you." that didn't have to involve sex.

You know, I personally like how that Paragon scene did NOT show them having sex.

It showed them cuddling.

That way, if you want, you can interpret it as they didn't have sex at all. They just held eachother.

I should point out that Tali is the one who "wants it to be real."  This is not something Shep is imposing on her.  She's the one who's all "feel your skin against mine."

Who is Shep to argue with that?

What I want most from Tali's romance in ME3 is that they confide in each other. That would be awesome.

Honestly, this is how I feel, too.

We can always get intimate without resorting to sexual intercourse, but you never know. It's Jack after all.
