This forum doesn't prove anything. Only really dedicated super fans even post here. Most people don't bother. The actual data doesn't have Tali in the lead by a longshot anyway. Most average players did go for the catsuit.

They showed their stats?

Good, then he can answer my question! Considering I'll be walking around in an N7 sweater & Tali t-shirt as soon as they arrive, I have only good things to say about someone who walks around the office in N7 armour

The live feed from IGN about E3 confirmed that Shepard's "friends" (squad mates) are scattered around the galaxy at the start of ME3. Which means that you'll probably have to rerecruit Tali.

Awh, man, not again! Why is it that VS and Porkchop have to be the ones to pick you up? I suppose this means another good Tali mission, but still, I'd rather have a touching cutscene shortly after you escape onto the Normandy.



Edit: Isn't this supposed to happen directly after Mass Effect 2? Why is it that your crew suddenly flew willy-nilly away from Shepard as fast as possible?

The crew had things to do. The Alliance seized the Normandy, so they had to leave anyway. I assume that trouble is brewing for each of the races, so while Shepard went to earth to be put on trial, the squad mates went back "home" to help.

Maybe she will be there if she was exiled. There might be some transfer options at the beginning of the game that will affect who is in the squad from the get-go.

Also, as soon as we get some Tali footage, I am avoiding the threads, I want this game to be more surprises than not when I buy it.

Still, I'd be happy if there's at least a scene where Shepard is forced into the Alliance trial alone, and his squadmates from the very beginning (Tali and Garrus), who's entire mission with Shepard is to stop the Reapers, told him to come and find them as soon as it was over, as they needed to prepare their respective races... Or something like that. Although, I suppose a lone, prestigious Quarian warning the fleet and being heard is a lot more feasible than a single Turian (who seems to be viewed as either revered or a rogue) trying to warn his much-less-close and exponentially larger race.


Bleh. Better be able to make Tali Recruitment Take 3 the very first mission after Escape.

Yea, I hope I'm able to recruit Tali (Garrus) shortly after the beginning of the game. The VS (in my case, Kaidan) seems to be the first recruit, so I'm good there.

It's a good sign that the VS is the first recruitable. Maybe you can get the old old team back together first thing, if that's the case. It would certainly work out just fine if the storyline went "Escape from Earth and pick up the team, we've got places to go, Reapers to kill!"

I get the feeling that you go to a certain place, resolve the problem there, and afterward the associated squad mate is put into your actual team.

In Tali's case, you probably go to some place in Geth/Quarian space, and after taking care of that, she's on your squad officially (provided that you don't side with the geth).

Garrus would probably be on Palaven or a Turian colony. Liara, Thessia (asari homeworld).

Who knows who the other squad mates are.

Vega (probably), Anderson (who may just be a temp squad mate), and the VS get Shepard off of earth.

And it's not VS and Liara, it's VS and Porkchop (James Vega; I call him Porkchop affectionately, not trollishly). Anyone know if Krogan Princess is quite early on in the game? Because in the demo, Garrus and Liara were already with Shepard. Good sign for old friends ASAP, maybe?

Seems to me like it'd be the one with the Reaper Crawler. Before the demo starts, it's announced that Shepard has "a fleet" and the Normandy waiting above, and will call in an orbital strike (besides the airstrike the Normandy also does). Is this the "We've got the Quarian fleet waiting in orbit!" video, by chance? Anyways, Legion is there, Garrus and Liara are (again) there, it's the middle of a Reaper base on some far-off planet and with some alien fleet recruited and above; So most assuredly in the middle of the game.

I hope before the trial, we get a touching scene of people leaving the Normandy instead of "SUDDENLY YOU ARE AT EARF AND YOUR FRIENDS R SCATTERED EVRYWERE" so we know what the hell happened to them all.
