I generally think they'll treat Tali with more respect than some other characters (I would cite ME1 and ME2 as examples), so I'm not too worried. But I am still disturbed about what they did to Miranda and Ashley.DoNotIngest wrote...
I think things would feel more complete if Tali's face is shown. Besides, as Bioware's people are the ones who brainstormed Tali into being, I would think they would do a good job in making a face that matches her voice and her personality.
They should realize that Tali is much less objectified than either of those characters. I mean, yeah, DEM HIPS! is all over the place, but if there was a choice between seeing Tali's face or her hips, I'm pretty sure I know which one would win. I'm sure they won't sexify a character that was never seen as a sexual object (Which, no offence, Miranda was created for. Infertile, even...).
Edit: Plus, she was never a romance option in ME1, hopefully they'll just not think of oversexifying her...

I'd also would like to see an updated suit for Tali. Nothing too drastic though, otherwise we may not be able to tell if it's her.Garlador wrote...
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just stumbled upon the "Creating Garrus" video, and it got my imagination running when it was spilled that Tali a) has hair andmight get a haircut as she gets older.
Made me giddy to hear someone there claim she's possibly the most popular character, either just above or alongside Garrus, as well as the whole "don't search Google image for either of them with safe search off" jab.
Here's hoping she gets a nice redesign just as Ashley, Liara, Kaiden, and Garrus have thus far.

Yep, they used that "glowy bits" textmod appearance of Tali as the model for her latest t-shirt on the Bioware Store.LordPennlocke wrote...
They should use the Texmod version with the glowy bits and whatnot. =p Either the default or loyalty would be fine. Didn't Bioware use it in a trailer or a screenshot somewhere? Can't remember.
They were talking about her hood.Garlador wrote...

As far as I can tell, it was a metaphor about the hood. Indicating that they shaped the hood to "represent a cropped haircut," rather than "long flowing hair that the original hood represented." Not that they actually have hair. And the reason why you haven't seen another quarian with the short-hood design is because of game limitations; i.e. there is only one (other) female quarian model ingame, and only one male quarian model. The colouring is done purely by a RGB colour map. (See my sig for the whole skinning models to see more information). Tali is different because she is a unique character, much in the same way that everyone else on Shepard's team is unique (in appearance), hence why she has a different suit than any of the other quarians.Probably... but they said "hair" when they could have easily said "hood" instead, and I've not seen a single Quarian with a "short hood" design. They're all long. So a "haircut" might be interesting.
I'd rather they didn't do that. Just my opinion though.Unless Tali is a furry. That might be interesting.

Most agreed. If her face is revealed in ME3, I still believe she should look attractive, but not in an 'obvious and trying too hard' kind of way, which is how some of the other characters seem to have gone, and are now going (i.e. Miranda, Ashley, Liara...).
