Indeed. Though, at the same time, if the Geth network has been influenced by the Reapers again (which, apparently, at least some have), then it might be difficult to do much of anything with yet another threat at your back. Their conflict will have to be resolved one way or another, even if Tali suggests concentrating on the Reapers.

In which case Tali would be useful for the peace option, as she is the only one thus far looking at the bigger picture.

(As far as I can tell, Shala seems to be a "I'll go with whatever way the wind is blowing, since I won't really have a choice," sort of person.)

Actually, when you think about it, Tali was an optional recruit, yet, her shield upgrade was far from optional if you wanted to keep everyone alive.

Having a mechanical genius is useful when one wants to upgrade their ship.

Maybe it will be something similar in ME3. An optional character (since she could have died in the suicide mission, though no one here killed her, I hope :stares:), but with a less than optional role if you want everything to turn out 'well'.

Assuming that you don't want to side with the geth, at least.

That, and the fact that, aside from possibly Garrus, she is the only one still in the team who actually had first hand knowledge of how the attack from the Collectors against the original Normandy went; in fact, since she was in engineering, she probably knows what systems failed under the attack and the shield was the worst offender...

Ah yes, the "Tali-Pony" pic... The infamous image depicting our favourite quarian as one of those ponies everyone seems (for reasons unknown to me) so interested about all of a sudden...
For the sake of FsDxRAGE, we have dismiss that claim...

Last time just seeing Collider's avvie was enough to make him go Veetor on us, I can't even imagin what this would cause...

Besides I do not approve of the blatant lack of chicken feet in that pic... XD

I think it had something to do with the Pony craze in the Merrill thread. It somehow came here from people like both characters. That's just my theory.

Still not played DA2, though all I can say is, first game she looks like a royally stern thing and the second game she looks like someone shot her puppy... going off the wiki anyway. Though yeah someone is getting named as the forum pony****.
