INORITE  Then I read Adamo, and damnit, 140,000 words was NOT enough for that thing! Sure, it had an open ending, was very happy throughout and great at the end, and seemed like there'd be more, but it's been 4 months... Is the author waiting for ME3? They changed around enough concepts (Tali romance during ME1, etc), but GRR... Gonna read the rest of his, probably, they all seem Tali-related. I started to read one (**Different author) that started with something about Tali dying, got a bad feeling and read some of the reviews, and... Wow, I'm depressed enough by Beneath the Veil at parts (and about not finishing fanfictionz...), without Tali dying and Shep becoming a vengeance monster and Tali consorting with Satan and... Holy sh!t.


This is why I needed FF suggestions (IE great ones like FsD's, Adamo, BtV, etc...). I read a paragraph and Tali's stumbling down an alley dying slowly and painfully, alone?! Dis, dis I do not lyke!



PS: Going to the Land of Aus for nearly 3 weeks, won't see you all for a while. Complain to these people who aren't finishing their Tali FFs, Closure is a Right!

I doubt that Adamo is finished yet. Author is just taking his time with it.

But yeah, I too hate it, when stories are left unfinished. That's why I really prefer to wait until stories are actually completed or that authors are updating it semi-regulardly (about once in month). Then again I can understand it, when stories are abandoned. Sometimes authors are just too busy to finish them or they completely lose their interest in them. It's sad, but I know that had happened.

Anyway, I just noticed that Finding a way had been updated and there are two new chapters! That's huge, considering that there had been only 5 updates in about a year.

Well, I liked "Shell of Heroism"... Sertrus is a good author, I felt pretty emotional in some places (and I'm not talking of only sweet emotions, i felt quite a bit of anguish in some areas too)...
It's complete, however it only tells about ME1, the sequel "Spirit of Heroism" which is set in ME2 is still ongoing, however it's uploaded semi-frequently (he'll be away for some time, then have a pretty active period, and so on...)

There are other nice ones I read, but they are ongoing too...

One however: it's finished and it's pretty much comedy, but I swear in some places I laughed as hard as you wouldn't believe... I'll have to go look for it as I don't remember the title just now, but it was a pretty weird reading, weird in a good way...

*Mild Spoilers*

It involved things such as Tali getting pregnant with a mutant human-quarian abomination thanks to Mordin insane experiments, Garrus getting his ass handed to him in galaxy of fantasy (by Shepard apparently), Grunt becoming a member of the Admiralty Board, Tali passing through several phases of quarian pregnancy (like say, becoming murderously jelous of her mate and attacking everything that gets close to him), Shala'Raan beating up Shepard, Jack celebrating Tali and Shepard wedding (it's as montrous as it sounds), other stuff...

Oh by the way, apparently Quarians are marsupials... And have long prensile tongues... Which can be used to attack people...
So, yeah, weird reading...

Im so glad to see tali fans are still going strong , still. to delay the game half a year for some kinect features? pffffft..

Well as far as I'm concerned, I don't mind either way. I mean I'm conflicted as part of me wants to know, but the other side of me don't... But there is one thing I do know which is that i'll be happy no matter the decision Bioware goes with.

My reason Is that I would rather not think about it, as the longer you think of this decision, the worse its going to be for you when you realize that maybe Bioware's gone down a route with something you don't like. its just best to be open minded about it and move on.

P.S Thank you Rage for doing another chapter, i've been waiting ages

What bugs me are that there are people who demand that she looks hideous inside the suit. They don't wear the suits because they look bad, they wear them because of weak immune systems due to lives of isolation from other races. I'm not demanding that she looks like a beauty queen or anything, but Bioware didn't make any of the other races look like monsters, so the quarians shouldn't get that treatment.

There's also a plot continuation reason that she shouldn't look horrible inside the suit. If you romance Tali, She takes her mask off, though you can't see her face, and I didn't see shepard cringe or back away or anything. If she looked like a space monster, I think their might have been a reaction.

I have been supporting Tali for around 4 years now and it is sad that BW is afraid/nervous to do something about Tali's face. It really shows how selfish people and it is disgusting to see my fellow fans who support Tali with alongside me to say stuff like, "If she doesn't look like ______ I am not going to buy the game and I will hate BW."
I love you all (well, most of you;)) but damn some of the things said in here frustrates the hell out of those who truly support Tali.
But then again, this is the internet....

I admit, the constant talk of Tali's face been revealed or not is kinda annoying. But its nice to hear what people think she looks like, as i too have an opinion as does nearly everyone else here on what she looks like, and it expands my interest in Tali as a whole. But when people start hating on Bioware for not choosing their version of Tali's face it just makes them look a selfish idiot.

I have my version of Tali i want to see... but i'm not going to start moaning if her face is different to what i chose. And like i said in my previous post, have an open mind and don't hype up an idea in your head, it makes things easier.

I hope this post don't sound hateful, as i appreciate the love people give out to Tali. It shows your loyalty to a character who has won our hearts one way or the other but please don't be putting pressure on the company that gave that character to us, it makes us look bad and gives Bioware the added headache on deciding on a face reveal is a good idea or not in ME3. just chill please and appreciate all the hard work been done at Bioware.

I'm not one of those kinds of people (at least I hope I'm not), but if I find out that bioware makes her look awful just because people who are NOT fans demanded that, then I'll be pissed.
