These screens are fab! I was just taking a look through the images in your link, and the soft focus on the pictures has smoothed out most of the hard polygon edges, making them look almost real!

Thanks. It's mostly a lot of subtle bluring done in Photoshop. I find that it make things look "rounder" instead of the straight lines of the polygons, and makes objects look more "solid", light sources "glowing", and the air more "atmospheric". People that are into high res detail won't like it but I lean more towards hazy abstraction so the details of this fantasy world can be filled in by one's imagination.

Is it me or has the ME3 version of this thread attracted either the people from the mental home, or the troll posters who are trying to find out how far they can go before a mod stops them for being clearly way too overzealous and overbearing.

Personally I cant see it being more of another trolling effort on that front... ah, at least this thread is still currently sane and active, it did die about a week ago. Doubt I'm the only one who is starting to cringe at being a Tali fan...

There is no reason to cringe at being a Tali fan. She is obviously the best ME character and Im proud to love her<3:D
I agree that this thread has pretty much died tho... when i was a lurker there was in depth discussions but recently, not much at all:crying:

I noticed that too. It's like the troll posters are 'choosing' to mis-interpret things in the worst possible way and antagonise people who simply want to talk about something they are interested in. They don't seem to understand what these forums where created for, i.e. so a good company can get feedback and ideas from the players of their games.

This is a side effect of the hate crowd, because their intention is to make you feel guilty about liking something. For an answer, we need to put things into context. The haters are looking for things to 'put down' because of problems in their own lives. Your comment about 'people from the mental home' is literally accurate! The only reason why these trolls do this, is to attack something popular which makes them feel better about things going wrong in their own lives (it's called 'aggresion transference'). I think BW hate these trolls as much as we do, because these trolls destroy communication and prevent ideas being discussed.

I for one will not let the idiots win. These forums are a fabulous way to connect with the developer. BW read these forums and pass on good ideas and concepts to the dev teams, to find out what people like and don't like about their games. We have the opportunity to influence games that 'we' want to play. Over the time I have been in these forums, I have learned who the trolls are, and I simply don't even bother reading their comments any more, and focus on conversing with constructive and interesting people, like yourselves.

I know what you mean... The ME2 boards are dead now. The Thane thread is lucky to get a couple of posts a day.

And yeah, this Tali thread has been really mature, and is practically a living defiance against those who claim that all Talimancers are extreme fanboys. The one on ME3 isn't too bad. I think it is the board in general. Especially when S/S conversations get started...

Hey there.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, as I don't know what kind of reaction this post will get, but I wanted to tell you about my fanfic. It's a potential ME3 plot based upon my canon Shep. Now he's a Jackolyte, but I love all the characters of ME evenly (Yes, I even like Jacob).

The general gist of the plot so far is that the crew got separated, and Shepard has been finding them again, amidst various missions to recruit the organisations of the Galaxy and find technology to fight the Reapers.

The latest chapter, 29, deals with finding Tali again. It also deals with some Quarian-centric issues pertaining to their hopes for the future and so on.

Anyway, what I'm asking is would anyone like to give me their opinion on how I've represented Tali in this chapter? Sure she hasn't had a chance to really integrate into the cast of my writing yet, but she'll have her chance.

The basic gist of what I'm saying is feel free to have a look and tell me what you think of this version of Tali. Many thanks in advance.

That unmasked Tali reminds me of Jack. Although Tali will most likely be bald under the helmet i really hope its more of a pixie cut

To be honest I don't see the point of moving yet Hellbound. Why do we need two threads to discuss Tali, it just splits us in half, and besides we've had near no infomation about Tali in ME3 except a pic with her, Garrus and Shepard...so why do we need a new thread atm. 

I'll have a look for now though, but until this thread gets locked or it becomes a ghost town (which it almost is)

The real problem is that the character threads shouldn't be devided by episode anyway. This is the ME 1 & 2 board and should have just become the 1, 2 & 3 board. 

It makes sense to divide them for technical, strategic and gameplay stuff, just for better organization. But characters are not episode dependant and shouldn't be split up.

IMO, someone needs to merge the chracter threads for all episodes.
