To actually have the whole thing develop over the span of several years, despite Shep being a corpse, then to have the feelings be reopened at Freedoms Progress...
Quite frankly, it's the only romance that feels like the real deal. I just get that vibe.
She's stalwart in her resolve, and utterly adorable in the romance. Probably the most developed character, aside from the other dextro teammate.

I actually didn't mind quarian encyclopedia. I mean a quarian's identity and personality is all bound up in their perception of their people and their culture. I find it quite natural that Tali would talk about herself and her people in the same sentence a lot.
When you get asked "why do you wear that suit?" over and over you will probably just start to memorize your response to it.

Haha, why do I somewhat suspect this is something of a preemptive defensive measure since I am here?

Pffft....****ing love Garrus.
I was originally going to say best developed female character, but I know I'd have hatemail coming out of my ass if I said that.

As much as I wanted her to be a LI in the first game, I'm glad it worked out this way.

I feel that the Liara LI is also the real deal now too (for my Renegade Shep) but that is off topic...
In short - Tali's romance was well done and it felt like it wasn't a fling like Miranda or a repair job with Jack (granted Jack is growing on me as I watch the youtube vids)

Can't have Tali without Garrus, and vice versa. Fact of life.
Hm.

Favorite Tali lines? I have actually never thought about this so I have to consider for a moment.
Shepard: When you figure it out, I'll be here for you.
Tali: I'll let you know... I promise
or
The pounce (not really a 'line' but its good anyway)

Pretty much any deadpan snark line is gold. I also really like that little thing she says that is a sort of password as you approach the Migrant Fleet. All her lines where she tells Shep down when he either offers to get the homeworld back or else that the quarians should colonize a new world. Actually, all her LM lines are awesome, but the last like three conversations she has with Shepard are awesome. I know there was one that had me laughing like crazy the other day, but I can't seem to remember it for some reason. It was in ME1.
Tali: I'll be right behind you...that armor is in good condition, right?
Was it that one?
@Mobius, she says it on Feros to one of the company reps.

"I got better, Shepard, I got you." It's said in such a heartfelt and sweet way.
Same conversation, UL dialogue option: "...It's fun watching you shout." Such a sexy little tone at the end.

Bringing up an old subject: Tali's hood.
Less of the designs on it, more of the hood itself.
I've noticed that female quarians all wear hoods and males don't and instead seem to have a small armor plating covering the top of the cables and tube running to their helmet.
Could there be more to genders in quarian society than is seen? The toe thing is another aspect that could mean a different social standing.
Like:
Outside toe: females/leaders
No toe: Males/soldiers
Inside toe: Geth/slaves

Is there a difference in toe placement on males/females/etc? I never noticed such a thing...
