Shala is good to her word. She’s got a new suit for me before I have to leave.
“I’m sorry, Tali, it’s the most I can do,” is all she says when she offers it to me. Sometimes I think she really does understand. But it’s a little late for that now.
I peel away the old, revealing scars I didn’t know I had, though I’m the only one who can see most of them. I have to admit the suit is a nice one, showing off my hips. Mother always said that was going to be my best feature.
“A fresh start,” she nods approvingly as I adjust my wrap. Oh yes, Auntie. Look out, galaxy, this is a whole new Tali, a girl with a plan.
Quarians have a saying: If you haven’t got a destination, no relay will take you anywhere. Well, I’ve got one now, and I’m going there fast. What’s left of my team will work for the recovery operation; there’s no need to involve anyone new. Hopefully I won’t take too many of them with me. Just one, really, will suffice.
That brings me to the only requisition I’ve got other than the usual supplies. I’m going to leave the Migrant Fleet better off than I found it. Even if it kills me. Daddy’s going to be proud.

Nonloyalty. The gold belts do not fit well with Tali.
But yeah, nonloyalty here too, it has more purple!
But since we're talking about her loyalty outfit, might as well repost this. 'twas made with my cellphone over the course of approximately 20 minutes in Clan Zorah. My thumbs, they hurt so bad back then. Chalk it up to dedication or the assumption that "I'll be done next sentence!".
You must have massive thumb muscles after that! I like it, and I can't wait for alternate appearance packs to come out again. At least they can't put crappy shades on TaliB)

Heh. I suggested Shala was the one to get her the new suit to replace the ME1 suit as well:

Ha with all this FF stuff...I might just have Tali put that new suit back on
Wonder if Shala also threw in the Nerve Stim Pro: Deluxe too...
*edit* probably not, too soon after Rael's death

Seriously hoping for something good but looking at previous DLC I'm not getting my hopes up.

Here's hoping that the next pack is the remaining three LI's then. And that they don't figure out how to make shades work on a visor.Wolf Warden wrote...

They could give her a transparent mask, then put a scarf around her mouth, nose and forehead, and give her giant aviators for her eyes.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Delete! I don't want to give BioWare ideas!
Though, yeah... A scarf wrapped around her face, that does look pretty great. (Presuming it's a good looking scarf. Say, made of her normal cloth)

Amen.
And no ****ing shades. They're beyond ugly.
If they have to add new accessories, add something that doesn't make me question the character's fashion sense.

Or the character in general. Tali is far more likely to add ammo slots to her suit than a necklace.Someone With Mass wrote...

Poker nights with the crew would be cool. Put it between missions here and there. I'd try to not pull rank on everyone.

My Shep would have to start pulling rank or cheating (infiltrator). He already used the "oh, I'm an amateur" trick.Someone With Mass wrote...

Or just let the quarian win.

Definitely, she just let Shepard win this time around so she could overwhelm him when the stakes are higher.mrsph wrote...

This pic makes my inner art nerd happy. Because of this.
On a different topic, due to one of our current occupations in Clan V, I've thought of something. What if the quarians we hear speaking with an accent are actually the ones that are speaking Standard Galactic, while the ones we hear without an accent are the ones using a translator? It would make sense that a translator wouldn't pick up on the accent.
This would mean that Tali and Shala'Raan, for example are speaking Standard Galactic. While Daro'Xen, Kal'Reegar or Zaal'Koris are speaking quarian, and we hear them through a translator.
Does that sound plausible at all?

I think its possible. But as this is the future, I wouldn't be surprised if you could buy more advanced translators that could be programmed with an accent.

Yeah, but I don't really see the point of doing that...It has no functional usefulness. Unless it's solely for people who like listening to accents...
