Well OK, that's not a game I'd refuse to try, but I wouldn't buy it. I would probably play it if somebody came up to me and said "Here is the Witcher go and play it".
I don't know, it's just never really interested me. Although I have said that about many games and been surprised, who knows, I might end up liking it.

I'd say get it just to support an excellent development studio with some excellent ideas and attitudes :P

The Witcher is a mixed bag, to be honest. It's good yet at the same time it isn't. If you see it on sale, though, then I say get it ;)

Any and all Final Fantasy Games. I played FF7 first, and let's be honest they all suck after that.

I'll keep it in mind. I saw it in GAME a few weeks ago, the Enhanced (or Extended) edition I think. GAME are having a Christmas sale soon so I'll see if they reduce the price for it.

Yeah, that's the one. You might be able to get an original copy for cheap and then patch it up to the EE, too :)

I agree.  However, the ones before Final Fantasy VII, particularly the SNES games were very good.

Spore

Sims anything these days

I'd list others, but you said supposedly great games I'd refuse. And of course, I have to note that I wouldn't refuse to try them, but there's absolutely no way I have enough interest in them to buy them.

And if these were considered great, I'd add them to the list of games (and these I would refuse to even bother with in any way shape or form)

Any Fishing or Trophy Hunting Game. Wow, don't those sound exciting. Right up there with Barbie Horse Riding or something. Or Hello Kitty.

Yeah I passed on Modern Warfare 2. I used to play Call of Duty games but military style first person shooters have grown very stale in my opinion. I do like first person shooters but I'm sick of the military style setting. I prefer Halo, Half Life or Metro 2033 AD.

Your right, they have gone stale, because they're all mindless run-n-gun arcade nonsense. Try getting into more serious military shooters, like the arma and operation flashpoint games.

Just remember to play them on the hardest difficultys though to get the "true experience".

Anything form the GTA series. They look pointless. If I want open world, I go to Bethesda.

GTA IV has better story telling than Oblivion, as does San Andreas. They're no more pointless in their sandbox nature than anything Bethesda have done.

I like Bethesda's games for the gameplay mechanics and side quests, not so much for the main story arcs.

I dunno, I get tempted to try GTA 4, Then I look up vids and all I can find are car stunts and players driving over old ladies.

Anything that requires Twitch skills (ie; joystick recommended), is Pay-to-Play, or has so-called Mature content generally does not get much of a look from me at all. And from the growing numbers of whiners, complainers, and entitled immature self-absorbed elistists posting on the forums, I will most likely pass on non-policed MMO's.

There's a demo available you know. Even if you see it on sale for $5, I'd play the demo first.

I used to play WoW, but the games whose icons are under my picture killed that addiction. I contemplated trying Cataclysm, but after seeing the previews, it was a huge let down from Wrath.

And well, I got tired of a majority of the players, most of them seemed to think being anonymous means you can be an ass.

i've never bought psychonaughts, to me it sounds highly overrated, i mean if ppl like twahtzee like it, you know its overrated.

its most likely worth as much as a certain vietnamese women only profession that is highly valued by men today.

There aren't any that I refuse to try. There are games I have no interest in buying, but if someone gave me a game for free to try I would.
