If you have nothing decent to say, don't say anything at all please.

Someone needs to tell me about if the camphign (I know wrong spelling) is any good before I buy it.

The campaign has 4 player co op
you can customize your spartan to look however  you want for both campaign and multiplayer.
They have new space battle

Could you elaborate on the customization? Is it like ODST's depth? Because I really like the sound of 4 player co op AND customization
:o

You can customize your character to look however you want  and you earn points to buy new armor and stuff by playing online.

Thats the nutshell version so here is an article on it.

Was anyone else surprised by how difficult the campaign was? Maybe I'm just used to Halo 3's regenerating health, but man do you die fast.
That ending was awesome and sad, too. Wonder what the Legendary version is.

Heroic on Reach feels like Legendary in the previous Halo games. Its a right b*tch. I got stuck having to replay bits over and over.

Hunters seem harder to kill, enemies seem overly accurate with grenades and you die alot easier your health bar doesnt do alot of good as once your shields drop your dead in seconds anyway. Oh one other difference is your AI team mates are now kinda useless. In previous games you could arm them with sniper rifles, rocket launchers and plasma launchers then watch them destroy enemies. They don't seem to do that anymore you can arm them all you want but they rarely shoot and dont do alot of damage in my experience.

***This might be classified as SPOILERS read on at your own risk***
Parts I've been stuck on include a battle with 4 Hunters who refused to die (I eventually ran away), a battle with 4 or 5 heavily armed white Elites in a small space and 2 drop ships dropping off 2 Hunters and a pair of cloaked Elites (dunno why I had such trouble with that). I'm on mission 5 or 6 at the minute and I'm still loving it.

Legendary is a real ****.

Elites have almost no health, but a ****load of sheilds. Human weapons do almost no damage to shields, and plasma pistol is now the most useful weapon in the game.

On Hunters: Remember in Halo 1 how you could spend a half hour sending an endless barage of ammo into them OR put them down with a single well placed shot in the back? It's a bit like that. Explosives can strip the back plate of their armour, leaving an exposed orange patch wich is very vulnerable. I have taken them down with a single very well placed melee once they are exposed.

I played the first two missions last night, it was awesome. Even on normal the enemies seem much better than they were in previous halos.

I replayed the final mission (the REAL final mission...) again a while ago.

What a way to end the game!

Yeah thats what I was trying to do to the Hunters but it just wasnt working. I took one point blank in the back with the shotgun hitting the exposed flesh and it survived 2 shots. I pumped an entire clip from the DMR into one again on the exposed flesh of the back and it lived! I'm thinking I wasn't supposed to kill it or something.

Were you in some sort of nightclub with some Marines, four Hunters and a device you have to deactivate?

Heres a fun fact: My brother and i just re-did the mission Nightfall on Legendary, i got 40 assassin kills, he got 69 headshot kills with the sniper rifle.

Aye the DMR incident was in the nightclub. Hunter had his back to me as I entered I lobbed a grenade and emptied a clip into his exposed back but he didn't die he just turned and opened fire. He bled which confused me all the more because as we all know if it bleeds we can kill it. The shotgun one was in Nightfall when it dumps 2 cloaked Elites and 2 Hunters on you.

Im at the start of mission 8 on Heroic. It annoyed me so I turned it off. 3 times I died from Wraith shots despite being well inside a building and nowhere near any of the doors.

There is a rocket launcher in the middle of the club, that might help.

Or theres plan B. Run past them using sprint, deactivate the thingy then run away again.

Ive found sprint works much better if you shout "RUN AWAY!!" in a Monty Python fashion when using it.

Exactly, they should really put this stuff in the manual.
Have you logged on to Bungie.net to check your stats? I'm quite surprised by some of mine. My top 3 weapons for kills are DMR, needler and frag grenade. I'm particularly surprised by numbers 2 and 3.

Heh, my top three (in descending order) for campaign are the DMR, melee and the Sabre!

Hey, those space battles got really crowded.

Is DMR your number one by quite a distance? Sabre was pretty high up on mine too but the Falcon was higher I don't remember killing that many things with it.

My play time is around 16 hours and I've just been playing on campaign on heroic. Although you can take about 4 hours off that for time I had to leave it paused. I still havent completed the final mission I keep getting raped by elites all charging me at once.

EDIT: *HUGE ASSED SPOILERS TOO*
I just found out your not supposed to finish that final mission, I thought you were supposed to finish it because the weekly challenge thing says I only did 8 of 9 missions. After completing it my stats now say the MAC gun is second on the list of kills for me!! 123 kills with it. It must count covenant on the actual vehicles. DMR is away out in the lead with almost 3 times as many kills.

No, I am not prepared, I need to buy new LCD.

The game is waiting for me in the shop, but I would not be able to play it anyway.

Hmm, well, on the morning of the fourteenth, I got up at seven, got in the car, drove down to the nearest Wal-Mart, picked up my standard edition copy (not the most elaborate, I know, but I got a Recon Helmet, a Limited Edition poster, a hat and a twenty dollar gift card) high-tailed it out of there and back home, slipped it into my 360, got comfortable in my recliner and played the campaign to completion of the same day.

Then I did Firefight and replayed a couple missions until I went to bed again, then woke up the next morning, did my stuff, then got on Matchmaking.

So yeah, I can safely say I was "prepared". Posted Image
